Girls, Could you ever love or respect a man who makes less then you do?

I'm not talking about someone who is a bum or anything like that, i'm talking about someone who has more simple aspirations in life.

Food, Drink, a roof over his head and his hobbies. That's all he wants out of life. But there seems to be this common sentiment, that a man is undatable if he doesn't make enough money to support both himself and his spouse as well as whatever kids they have, or in other terms "Why do i need a boyfriend if i still need to work anyway?"

Which really kind of further push this idea, that the only thing that determines a mans worth is how much money he makes.

I go for a guy who can add value to my life and money is not the only way to add value. He could help with chores or kids or offer emotional support and physical care if I’m
sick.
