I feel for you hun. But you need to tell him the truth. It will never sit right with you to keep this from him and the guilt will just eat away at you. Tell him and hope that he understands and if he doesn't then it just wasn't meant to be.

I've been in a similar situation where I hid something from my boyfriend and the guilt ate away at me. I eventually told him and he broke up with me but we did get back together.

You need to do a deep introspection and not ask the question, "what is best for me?" That's the kind of selfishness that got you into this mess.
Instead? Ask what is best for him.
Tell him.. If you didn't want to lose him you shouldn't of done it. Let him have the right to leave if he wants..
I think you can move past this and continue your relationship with him. If he doesn't know, there's no point in telling him.
Resist the temptation to tell him everything, because that will only create an even bigger mess. Just continue with your relationship the same as always, and if you can't avoid having a little bit on the side, deal with that when it happens.
