It's a thing I never understood tbh. As I view serious relationships, it's only meant to lead to having children in the end. If I had so few options that I could only date with 40+ years old women that cannot biologically give me children, I'd rather go to see escort girls. It would basically be the same, I would get sex, it would eventually cost me less money, less time, less energy, I wouldn't have children in the end, but I wouldn't have to deal with all the bullshits of a serious relationship. From my point of view that kind of relationship can't bring any good.

Though I think you're overaggerating the parents not being able to indentify with thier kids at an older age. As far as the odds of birth defects that's largely a myth. The increase of likelihood of birth defects past 40 only increases by about 1 to 3%, look it up. As far as dying while your kids are young. We're talking 40 here not 60. On the avg. If you had a kid at 40 you' leave them parentless at 35. While my father when I was 26, so there's never a guarantee of anything. 35 is far into adulthood.
It's fine for you to personally object to having kids past 40. But there's nothing wrong with it. I just personally wouldn't do it because I'm past 40 and I feel the difference in energy level between 20 and 40+. If I'm raining a kid, I want every ounce of energy I can muster.

I am not overexagerating anything. My parents got me at an high age. None of them were actually 40 but they were way closer to it than 20. I didn't connect with my parents cause they were fucking dinosaurs to me. The litteral only thing I had in common with my dad was computers because he was kind of a geek and that's it. As for birth defects, what you're saying isn't true. Taking my own example again, I was born outta caesarean section.
