My ex and i coparent. We don’t have the best coparent relationship but we are getting there.
Today i called him and asked could he watch out daughter because i wanted to go out Sunday and i always have our daughter on Sunday nights. He seemed like at first he didn’t want to but eventually said “go ahead I’ll watch her”
A few minutes later he texts me and says
“I’m just letting you know I got this job interview at my hometown in Franklin stl tissue i got interview wed i be working three days 12 hrs and Im going back to school to get my master degree 📜 .. wel that’s if you even care”
Why did he say that

He thinks it's relevant for you to know what his up to. By saying that he has a job interview coming soon and going back to school he's basically saying he's going to probably be very busy for a while and maybe won't have much time to see/watch your daughter.
"maybe won't have much time to see/watch your daughter.". I don't think that's necessarily the case. But they may have to adjust their schedules.
