No longer snap besties, cheating?

Me and my boyfriend have consistently been snapping each other the most throughout our relationship.
Now we are forced to do long distance for a few months bc of some circumstances.
We had the pink hearts on snap 💕 meaning we were snapping each other the most for 2 months straight. And now suddenly they disappeared.. and I’m not really using Snapchat to talk to anyone else.

Is this a sign of cheating? Should I get suspicious?

I asked him and he didn’t get defensive and sent me a screenshot, but chats can obviously be deleted
