I made a mistake with my girlfriend?

My girlfriend and I have been together for a short time, just a few weeks, and I'm really confused.

My romantic life has been a failure, age 23 and never had a girlfriend. She and I barely knew each other when we became a couple, when I found out someone was into me I esentially thought that I couldn't let this chance go away, and we started dating.

She's a fantastic girl, really sweet and awesome, but I've realized I'm not really in love with her. I know she deserves someone who loves her deeply, and I'm not that person, but I can't tell her that we should break up because it will break her heart, I don't want her to feel bad when it wasn't her mistake. I've realized that at the end, I don't want a relationship right now.

I was the girl on the other end of the same issue you’re facing. He didn’t really love me and was never really attracted to me. What made him finally break up with me was the guilt. It hurt and stung to know how he really felt, but in the end breaking up was a good thing. I deserve to be someone who loves me, he deserved to be with someone he truly loved. The same can be said for you and your girlfriend.
