I've noticed many people leave room in their relationship for their ego and I find it unbelievable how it can lead them to not only arguing about stupid shit but stretch that argument to the point they don't speak to each other for days, ego is just there to sabotage and people don't realize it, I'm sure someone that's gotta hear this will run into it, if the argument isn't important then there's no reason two individuals should stay mad at each other for so long, sometimes putting the little things and differences aside and even the anger aside is the best sacrifice for the relationship, but people seem to walk into relationships with that 'me me me' mindset that over time in the relationship you you you is all that will remain, fruit for thought.

I think ego ultimately gets in the way period. Even outside of a relationship. You have some people that have narcissistic tendencies that will always struggle in amy social situations.
That's true but even for these people it's a choice to check your ego and anyone can do it, it just takes effort from their part, weither they put that effort or not, that's what I believe makes the difference
Oh for sure. Even people with personality disorders can treat it. Just takes the want to and maybe a bit of therapy. It takes work but ultimately it can improve relationships
Yep, people with ego problems don't realize that it's sabotaging when it comes to many types of bonds, not even just romantic relationships
Agreed. But even if it isn't built on ego, if ego happens to kick in later, the relationship will fail.
Totally agree with your statement lol
