Should my boyfriend stay home with me if I am sick?

I had plans to see my boyfriend. I‘ve been sick for about a week so I‘ve been spending everyday at home. I was really looking forward to that night because I thought he would come over and spend a few hours with me. But there is a event from his tennis club tonight, like a „beginning of the year“ party which he is at right now. He invited me too but of course I can’t go and he will stay longer so he won’t come to me today. I feel so sad that he didn‘t choose to spend time with me. On the other hand, I also feel selfish because I am sad that he is having fun without me. I feel like the worst girlfriend ever… What would you do or want from your partner in this situation?

Take this as a learning lesson, you are NOT that important to your "boyfriend".

If he was a decent human being, after all, he'd at the very least dropped by your house or apartment to check if you were alright. Maybe brought your favorite fast food with him.

This is what women got to learn in today's age. Stop letting trash like this have any value. There's far better men out there - maybe not as good looking or as rich - but bluntly looks and money typically hides a nasty ass worthless personality like here.

thank you.. in the morning he asked me if he should leave the party early to spend some time with me but i said he doesn‘t have to. and then he said okay because it would be too much driving around because he was very busy that day..

I’d want him to not get sick from being around me, but a nice text or phone call to check in on me would be nice.
