I don't know that doesn’t make sense, unless they think you are willing to re locate for them.

Exactly. What he said doesn't make. How is being in a LRD for years and saying empty "I love you" even a relationship? Who would I (I'm still 36) share bills, have a child, settle down... with the phone? Lol
Nope because he doesn't want to leave his family. I would be willing to relocate away from my family if a man wants the same thing I want, which is commitment.
Nevermind he was a lovebomber like I suspected. I blocked him just today after he said the words "love you so much". It's disgusting how the "L" words freely thrown like it were a pair of socks.
Im currently in a ldr thats been going for 3 years, and i want her tocome here to the states.

You're much younger than me though. I'm no longer in the early infatuation (oh my love, so when we meet one day, someday) and fantasizing stage anymore.
Exactly. It's pointless. I would feel as if I would have no obligation of being exclusive if I were in a long-term LDR. I wouldn't even consider him a boyfriend.
We went to middle school and high school and are from the same hick corn town in Illinois. At the time I was doing well so I was able to fly to Texas (from NC) at least once a month, and sometimes more. We got engaged after four months and we set a hard deadline for me to move to Texas. The move cost a fortune and my house in NC took six more months to sell, so we paid two mortgages for that time. We got married in Las Vegas the following spring and were married for 10 years. Then our marriage ended.
I'm sorry to hear your marriage ended. Honestly I'm looking to date at a quickly pace (I don't want a long-term boyfriend and girlfriend, prolonged infatuation stage) and settle down.
Thank you. I had a fast track dating-engagement-wedding which would NOT have happened typically, but we knew each other since sixth grade so I was comfortable with it.
Exactly. He has 0% logic. He's still daydreaming about long distance and true love at the age of 38. I'm 36 myself and what he said was childish to me. It's what a teenager or 20 year-old guy would say.

I traveled 3000 miles to see that ingrateful asshole in 2020 for her birthday just to get stood up
I'm sorry to hear that, esp on her b-day. Some people are just trash.
That's what demi is
I was willing to relocate but she kept chasing after other guys. Why should I move 3000 miles when she can't stay faithful to me

That’s a waste of time, are they even planning on visiting once a month at least?
Nope because he doesn't want to leave his family. I would be willing to relocate away from my family if a man wants the same thing I want, which is commitment.
That’s weird

I wouldn't be able to do 3 years by now.
ahh i get it
Apparently he wants you to move to Australia. (By why not, honestly? Kangaroos are super cute!)
There is none, that's why most fail.

I had a successful LDR, but it had several components that made it work.
And did either of you guys traveled, move I'm together, got serious and eventually settle down or form a family in the end?

There is no sense in this at all.

He sounds a bit delusional.
Maybe he thinks you'll relocate instead of him
Because they’re bored
I don't like Australians very much
Sex?
How if we're not even in the same country?
Exactly :(
