It seems like fewer people are good with their hands these days whether it's building, repairing, or creating things. Do you prefer a handy partner?
I’m good either way. Time is money… somethings are worth the money to get an expert.
my hubby is very handy, he can take care of all the household stuff (fixing our cars … they (my son and hubby) just rotated the tires), remodel a whole house (kitchen, bathroom, he even make the bathroom tiles heated), fix the computers, cook delicious dishes…) but he is not a maid… as long as he does some, enjoys it … he can do whatever he wants. The rest I would rather let the expert do the work… like our cleaning ladies and lawn mowers.

One of my exes was good at knitting and hemmed my dress pants for a wedding. It was definitely a useful skill. And I like being handy myself as well. Knowing how to do basic plumbing, building furniture and renovating living spaces is pretty useful in terms of saving money and feeling satisfaction that you did it yourself. Pretty much every skill is something you're able to YouTube nowadays so I feel like anyone who doesn't do stuff themselves is just lazy, unless we're talking about electrical. That's something you shouldn't fuck around with unless you know your shit.
Yes, she should be good at something. Any of the traditional feminine skills would be great like sewing or cooking, but really any sort of hobby that she has some competency at would demonstrate she has a personality. Even a hobby that isn't handy - like being good at music.
I do a lot myself, but I do prefer men who knows more than me and can help out. Luckily my ex husband was a tradesman with many contacts and my most recent partner was good at everything. He still helps if needed.

Yes that would save a bunch of money for sure.
Yes, that would be nice.
I’m pretty good at fixing things around the house and also cars. I do track days and get used to doing cars up. I’ve dated a girl that worked for Lotus who was rather good at working on cars lol.
I think a woman that is good with her hands is always a plus. The photo of the woman working on the car is totally hot.🔥
I'm usually the one who is handy and can fix things. I'm good with my hands and can build my own furniture. It would be cool to have apartner who could do the same. I can't however fix a car engine... A partner who could would be so hot
i'm not particularly looking for that in a partner but it sure won't hurt to have such a partner xD
My wife can do a lot of different things. She is a very good painter and can do wallpapering too
No. I mean I'd value a partner who isn't afraid to get her hands dirty or can at least change a tire. But this is why stopped being poor. Because I didn't enjoy being Mr. Fixit. I'm still capable of fixing most things. But I'd rather pay someone younger and poorer to do it. I did my time is the way I see it.
Yes it would be nice if a guy is handy. That way I don't have to do all the work. LMAO
prefer? yes, but it's not a requirement or a deal-breaker.
Absolutely. A woman that can actually be a functional adult and doesn't need to ask someone to change a light bulb is a huge plus.
Once dated a woman that was a police officer and worked on large appliances for Sears.
It comes in handy :). My dad’s good at it and my mom really likes that.
It is nice to have, but hardly essential.
yes, resourceful for sure...
Yes, because I am clutz and tend to struggle at fixing things.
Oh yes strong powerful woman ❤️

Always good to be handy.
