My ex would walk around the house pointing out every little thing she could find wrong in the house and acted like I was supposed to beat her to it , I would tell her to go fuck herself that she has mental issues , I would also tell her since it bothers you so much , you should just fix it yourself , why waste your energy coming to me about it , if your mission was to find something wrong? I don’t come home from work and immediately point out things that weren’t done , and scream at her about it , so why does she feel she has the right to do that to me? Have you ever lived with someone that did this to you?

That’s what happens when you live with a woman. I get bitched at for the little sugar container for coffee being empty (she’s the only one that uses it!) I get bitched at for leaving whiskers on the sink when I shave (just a few) but the shower looks like someone gave a dog a haircut when she’s done! I get bitched at when it’s raining out! I have no control of the weather. Sure, I have my faults and probably should do certain things. The difference is, when she does things that bother me, I don’t say anything. One thing I would never do, is tell her to go fuck herself and say she has mental issues! I do love her with all my heart and nothing she would ever say could warrant a response like that from me. It’s no wonder she’s your ex. I’m sure you’re both better off!

No, I haven't. And to be honest, I don't know how long I'd be able to tolerate that kind of treatment. I can see if it was something I was supposed to do, missed something, or messed something up, and she was just trying to be helpful about pointing it out. But if her intent was to make everything, every little ding, dent, mess, whatever... About you being a failure of a person who didn't fix it. Naw dawg... I'd be out of there within a week.

No, never experienced this. Me and my husband share a house and we both try our best to keep things neat and clean. Since my job allows me lots of free time and I'm not required to go to work every day I tend to do more around the house so my husband doesn't have to worry about anything when he comes from work. When I have to go on work trips my husband does a fairly good job at keep the house clean too. We never had those type of arguments.

Sometimes my wife will make a big deal about something petty that she finds. I wouldn't tell her to "fuck off" though. She's just got to make sure I know that she found it. I usually tell her that she'd be really good at an Easter egg hunt.

Try to follow me on this. Guys have an 80/20 rule. You will deal with the 20% of a woman’s BS if the 80% is good enough. Women have a 90/10 rule, they like the 90% and think they can fix the 10%. They can’t fix the 10% so they start attacking you to break you. Never works out for them.
