Have you ever tried writing letters to yourself?

I love writing.

After my last introspective romantic experience from the past 3 months, I’ve realized the worth of self-love much more.

I realized I should be a person who loves and puts herself first and my muse should be my own self rather than the beauty I see in other people all the time.

So, I wrote couple of letters to myself from the Future Me, that’s living the dream life I’ve always had.

It’s inspirational for me to picture myself living in my dreams and it motivates me to live my dreams, so that my letters from the future will become my reality.

Not literally but I do write in first person to myself in my journal. I don’t know it’s I’m even explaining it correctly but it’s more so like a conversation with myself so that when I ready it again 10* years from now, I’ll remember exactly how I felt at that moment

So, let me get this straight… you got out of relationships and in those relationships, you realized that you needed to be more selfish and put yourself first, which is most likely the reason your relationship failed in the first place.. yes, I don’t need to know the circumstances to know a relationship fails because of selfish intentions. On both sides, but you chose to be even more selfish. You can love yourself, sure. But putting yourself first is what got you in this mess in the first place. Good luck with that. Being single for life is probably what’s best for a lot of people… especially females that have your mindset.

I think that's what I'm doing on this site most of the time. It's light a delight when someone responds but I'm mostly just writing letters to myself.
