When they text, they talk about random topics, update each other about their days, share songs. They also text each other good morning and good night everyday as soon as they wake up or when they are ready to go to sleep.
I don't know. In my case even when we were clear and had strong reason to keep it limited only upto friendship, we even had strong reason that why we should not go beyond friendship. We both were so much clear that we don't want anything more but still we ended up liking each other and falling in love. It took 2-3 months to develop feelings from being strangers to being attracted. And by end of 5th month our feelings were so strong that even when we didn't wanted it to be true but we couldn't deny that we were in love. And that was very much painful to accept when we knew we shouldn't be loving eachother but we also knew we couldn't deny our feelings as it's true and clear.
Eventually one is going to start liking the other. The idea of being able to do all those things and not gain feelings is nice but not very practical. When you’re routinely saying gm/gn, texting through the day, it’s hard to not fall for the person.
The real question is whether one person or the other is looking for more than friendship. This is something that should be asked upfront before you can be sure of anything.
