Ideally you wait for a solid commitment like a ring or moving in together. Because the reality of sex is you could get pregnant even if you use protection and then you will raise a child together. To me it sounds like you are not wanting to be a mom yet. Is that right?

Well i can't be a mom cause i have prpblems with that but even if i didn't i wouldn't want to be a mom yet

So then I would think about having a plan if you did get pregnant and decide what would happen. Also start to talk to him about intimacy and feel out what he feels comfortable doing. You don’t have to go right to intercourse to start, can take it slow with making out and escalating over weeks and months.

I can’t say 3 or 6 months or 5 years because every relationship is unique and frankly hormones cause us to desire sex as humans are programmed to procreate.

Personally I would want to wait at least 3 months so that the relationship means something and we have time to build up trust and support. Also once I start being intimate I would want to continue so want her to know I’m not going anywhere.
