Why is my guy friend withdrawing after I went on a hiatus for 1 week?

I'm not really sure if this is the reason but the guy is not responding to my messages and not even logging in to his account on facebook.

I deactivated my facebook for quite sometime and the last messages we had there was that we plan to see each other and me sharing some stuff related to my life and we were still super sweet. He even invited me to visit his house.. i frequently deactivate my facebook so i didn't think it'll be an issue.

Is he mad or just sad in general? I totally understand by the way and do not hold it against him if he disappears. Just that i want to know what normally causes guys to withdraw.

Ps. He also did this to me last time and his reason was he got addicted to venting to me always about all his problems.

I dont think this is the reason now because i'm the one who frequently vents to him now and I can sense he does care about me a lot. He even emotionally supports me like a boyfriend does.
