Man asked for break?

My man said he needed a break and we were getting too toxic. So i am giving him his space and not contacting him. but i can’t help but want to message him. To make it not too much for him and for him to want to rekindle, what are some things i can do in the meantime during this? I just need advice. I’m breaking down rn every hour and i just can’t. I don’t want to hound him but I don't know what to do. What is some advice here

thank you. i haven’t texted him at all today. and it’s really hard. i’m trying to stay positive bc he’s kept our photos up on social. and the thing that’s getting me through is running and walking while blaring music. music is my main outlet. especially when i cry. i just hope he chooses to rekindle with me. my heart is breaking bc i know there’s a chance he won’t want me after the break. i’m praying that we can rekindle and have a beautiful healthier relationship. i’ve been doing some self growth and what not since the start of the break which was basically a day and a half ago. i just wanna increase the chances of him coming back:/.

Breaks are never good near everytime it is just an excuse to sleep around and then come back when done. You two need to talk and you specifically need to prepare yourself for hearing things you won't like without starting a fight

i really hope so. it just really sucks not knowing what’s going on in his head. i miss him so much. i just wish if i knew he felt the same. how long do you think it could be before he contacts me? i have hope still because he’s left up our photos on social media. but it just sucks.
