I decided to grow my buzzcut out when I converted back to Christianity, so sometimes I cover my hair because it kinda looks ugly in the growing out stage. I'm surprised by how much I enjoy covering my hair though. It makes me feel more spiritual. I'll probably continue to do it once my hair is at a decent length, but it's not an everyday thing for me.

In my denomination of Christianity (Catholicism) the rules around head covering we're changed officially by the Pope after Vatican II. So there is no obligation to cover one's head anymore. Hairstyles are also not restricted (I really wonder why 60 percent of guys said she should have long hair). However, I'm not sure how it is in other Chritian denominations
I think that was a cultural thing, pertaining to the Corinthians at the time. However, in cultures where decent women cover their heads, I believe a woman should cover her head. I think a woman should look like a woman and a man should look like a man. (i. e. no crossdressers) Personally, I like short hair. (Dorothy Hamill still looked like a woman)
Those bible verses are a bit confusing to me. If hair itself IS a covering, then I don't get why another covering would be needed on top of that. I might be misinterpreting it.
