God says nothing about makeup, what god says indeed amd he says for all people is that they shouldn’t lose themselves and turn fake so unless makeup is distrupting your spiriual self then it’s not a point of concern!!
Well most of the things in Bible or sacred texts shouldn’t be take at word’s value as most of the time they have a hidden meaning;so in this case it isn’t referring to makeup as physical makeup but as a tool for masking the soul or intentions thus straying people away of God’s path and making them sin by corruption of soul with lust and so on:so it’s referring in a spiritual way or sense and not in the direct act of wearing makeup but the act of masking oneself and possessing ill intentions or sinking into temptation, so as I said , as long as you stay as you are and not lose yourself supposedly you are totally fine wearing your makeup!!
For God’s sake it’s bot a sin, it’s not needed or necessary but it isn’t a sin either;People ls behaivour makes something sinful or not and cmon if you think like that , then even if I am or am not a christian , would understand it better!!
I remember I found a site where author claimed going to the beach is a sin and dancing (even classical dances) is a sin. I think that there are some people who look everywhere for a sin. We should not let ourselves go mad.
Also, one should be careful about the context of a passage and not using it out of context to make a general rule. That is something groups like the JW's do, yanking things like a Pharaoh executing the chief baker on Pharaoh's birthday to ban birthday celebrations, under threat of expulsion from and shunning by the group, completely ignoring Roman's 14.

Make up is not evil. It is the possible way in which it can be used that might be evil. I doubt that your use of make up was intended to seduce men for your own carnal pleasure.
No women should , because it will detoriot your skin and once you remove it you feel like a looser why would anybody want that setting unrealistic standard and then making others insecure and crying over it.
It's a sin, according to the bible, to be vein. It just depends on how religious you truly are. The same book, also condones slavery, so, you should really just take the book with a grain of salt, IN MY OPINON
condones? god freed the slaves showing he hates slavery. read book exodus or at least chapters 8-13. vanity sin doesn't mean common lipstick it refers to THOUGHTS and intentions when combing hair etc.
you "go back and read" EXODUS god opposed slavery. man! like most people, you pretend to quote a book without checking if it is realy inside. like "alice wasn't really in book alice in wonderland go check."

It is an area of personal preference.

I just don’t like makeup at all in general. Its the natural beauty (God’s own designed creation) that should be appreciated
Mature answer thank you seems likeyou really do know the bible.
Its the oddest thing to me too.
Women wearing all that bright red and pink lipstick crap. It just looks like garbage
It's all up to you whether you want to wear makeup or not. There's nothing against it.
Personal preference but it depends where your heart is.
In itself it's not wrong but are you doing it for yourself or others?
My make up is so I don't get asked if I'm tired so much lmao 🤣
Never fails
Cosmetics (concealer, eyeliner, etc..) are technically sorcery, so no.
Thank you. I agree with you.
I think it's a personal preference. People can behave seductively without wearing make up.

No, but she shouldn't over-adorn like a hooker.
Why would it matter?
Wearing make-up = vanity
Not wearing make-up = pride
Because I dont want to burn in hell wjen i die.
Both of those are on list of 7 deadlies.
You need to take the Bible verses in context. Otherwise you will focus on the wrong parts
Men don't care about make up. Boobs and butt and nothing else.
Whatever she feels like doing.
"Thou shalt not rouge" is not a commandment.
They should wear whatever they want to... religion should not dictate it
Not sure what religion has to do with makeup. But I’m atheist.
You have to wear a headscarf. If you can't do this, shave your head.
