What do Swedes think of Americans? Do Swedish men like American women?

I am hoping to study in Sweden within the next year. This has to be one of the least important questions when considering living in another country, but I am curious... on average, what do the Swedish people think about the United States?

From what I read, people aren't as outgoing in making friends or relationships. Maybe that's true, maybe it's not. Do Swedish men like American women?

I understand that everyone is different. There is no single answer. But there can be some behaviors that can be identified, when talking about certain countries, I think (the US included.)

Swedes generally like Americans a lot. This is especially true for young people. However, like in other continental European countries too, the Swedes tend to be very reserved. Contrary to the often overtly loud and very outgoing Americans, Swedes like to keep to themselves and it's generally considered polite to be quiet. It takes far more time and effort to become friends with somebody (men and women) than it would in America. For people who aren't used to this mentality, things can sometimes be quite frustrating.
On the plus side, you will always be able to trust friends. Contrary to the US where people promise you friendship after meeting you two times, Swedes are very careful to use these kind of words (the same goes for love). If a Swedish guy tells you that he considers you a friend or that he loves you, you can be sure he really deeply means it.

Scandinavian people aren't the most social of creatures. The 2 Swedish chicks I know are pretty cool
