Should people disclose if they're transgender?

Question

Transgenderism has been in the news lately after POTUS Donald Trump passed a law regarding not allowing transgendered men and women into the military. However, this is a more personal situation: Say you were dating a man/woman who wasn't biologically male/female from birth and you're really interested in them, but they don't disclose their situation to you after you've gotten into a relationship with them? Do you feel that it's imperative for someone to disclose something like this?

No arguments and/or name calling. Please let's respect each others opinions and be adults. Its just a question that I'm asking out of curiosity for the publics opinion. Thanks. 

My opinion: I personally feel it's only fair to disclose this information, hence the other party doesn't feel threatened by it or have an issue with it, I don't feel it's particularly a bad thing, especially if they aren't interested in having biological children.

The fact that they are transgender will have to come out eventually, but the question is how soon. If they are going to be a one night stand, it needs to be before you leave the establishment you would be leaving. Don't surprise them at their place or yours. Plus if they are against it they can just get move on to someone else, and if they do freak out it would be safer for the transgender in public. If they are trying to date each other, I would either say after the first few dates or before sex (which ever comes first) or before kissing. I don't have as good of an answer for that one.

There are guys that cannot handle a cock even if by all other visual metrics the person is a girl, but there are guys that do not care about genitalia as long as their partner is visually a woman. I heard about one guy that stabbed his one night stand because she was transgender. I think that it was a horrific over reaction that should never have happened, but the fact that he felt violated is completely understandable if she did not disclose that.

The second that you are bumping uglies or are going to it does become the other person's business at least a little bit.

Of course a transgender person should inform every romantic interest that they are trans. Otherwise they're forcing heterosexual people to engage in homosexual behaviors and that's a huge violation of another human being.

They should be honest, but it's important to remember that it can be scary to tell someone that, especially for trans women, since it's fairly common for them to be assaulted or even killed when the man finds out. It can be better for them to wait until they can trust the person they're with.

Please tell me people, what would make you okay with dating someone who is really the opposite sex and they didn't tell you. Yeah, I understand that it's risky but they made that choice to change their body. They're still the same sex as they were when they were born. They should have to disclose this. The reason why they get killed or beat up is because they hide this stuff and disclose it at a later time. That would make anyone angry

They should have to disclose it. Otherwise they are being dishonest and misleading. If you are not a real woman or man, you need to inform a potential partner that you are a transgender.

On a side note, I will never accept transgender people or their "movement."

if dating then yes. its who you are and that should be discussed. as should other major life topics. they will find out anyway and a good relationship doesn't work with secrets

I mean its only fair trapping people into a relationship never works. Now I don't like it when people are transgender but what people do is their business and I will tolerate it. If getting a sex change operation could actually mean they could genetically alter your gender biology then by all means I support.
