The last decade has seen politics and media take up the image of female empowerment and prioritize it above most other things. Consequentially, people who instead moderate "girl power" with other ideologies tend to lose their platform or fall out of the spotlight. It's a troubling position, because anyone who might want to discuss the hyperbolic nature of this movement today could find themselves on a slippery slope to being cancelled. Align your question with that extreme environment, and we start to see the issue unfold.
The most-publicized message for absolute goodness in the western world today touts women as heroic and infallible. The evidence for that claim is... because they're women.
We've now seen too much of a good thing. Encouraging women that they can live how they want to is right and just. Everyone one of us is deserved autonomy and we should be proud of our society for accomplishing that. Today, though, folks are not trying to stop the pendulum. They are pushing it ever farther the other direction. We've blown past the idea that individual men have gotten away with doing bad things and we're now accosting all men with a reputation as predators and abusers. It's a bit unsettling how unwilling we are to now offer the benefit of doubt to our men and boys. It seems greater numbers of people are willing to just believe men are bad, and the way to fix them is to stop them from being men.
You're not wrong. Feminizing boys and men is honestly the objective. We're only getting to this point because whenever a man tries to fight back, he's beaten down as being part of the patriarchy. This preference for women is having dyer affects on our youth. Grade school education disproportionately favors girls. Boys get worse grades, are more likely to be reprimanded, and are disciplined more severely for competitive character traits which are quickly being phased out. Rather than having winners and losers determined by their efforts, educators are striving to equalize everyone's abilities by disarming the value of, or completely eliminating, victory. Place that approach into a world which already treats boys as defective. Now our children understand that "girls are better than boys" and boys don't even have the opportunity to prove otherwise.
One might think people grow out of this, but men are falling farther and farther behind women in higher ed. You might be surprised, given that we see new campaigns to promote women into STEM fields and management positions, but women are surging past their male colleagues. Men are failing in droves, but there's no acceptable movement, or serious concern present to help them. The world's too focused on girl power to worry about men.
What you might not see is the secondary features. Yes many boys and men are starting to transition into women in appearance and behavior, but I'd wager they are the minority being catapulted into the stars. For the most part, you might find men who don't want to become women retreating into other lifestyles which you can't see. Whether they live only for themselves, live online in chatrooms or as gamers, or get sucked into forums and ideologies which might be harmful, the result is they aren't present for you to view or experience. Culture, education, and politics in the west have told masculine men to change or go away.
We're not all changing, we just don't see a world which wants or welcomes us.
I think the ultimate answer is because Satan is influencing these things.

In this scripture we see that Satan works in the sons of disobedience (those who are not born again), meaning he supernaturally influences them to sin and do his bidding. Satan hates God and is clearly at war with God. Satan promotes everything that is opposite to God’s decrees.
God said he alone is to be worshiped, Satan instead wants himself to be God and to be worshiped. God says homosexuality is and abomination, but Satan has been working overtime to influence more people to be gay and to create a culture which embraces homosexuality. God said transvestitism, transsexuality, abortion, fornication, the elimination of sovereign nations and a one world government, and euthanasia are all sins and the exact opposite of what God commanded, yet we see these things zealously promoted in our culture today, particularly from people who are left wing politically.
What we see with men today is just another thing in a long list of items that is exactly the opposite of what God commanded or how he created things to work that is embraced by our culture.
God said this:
“Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them Man when they were created.” Genesis 5:2 ESV God created them male and female. 2 distinctly different beings created for different roles and purposes by God. Each created in God’s image and each distinct and unique from the other in respect to characteristics of their genders. Yet today we see the deliberate attempts to get men to be more like women and fill the roles God created women for and likewise we see the push for women to act like men and preform the tasks men were created for. Just another set of things Satan is promoting that is exactly opposite of what God decrees.
How is this done? By the continual bashing of masculine traits. By creating a society that is gynocentric. By demeaning men in movies and TV shows and commercials as helpless dopes who can’t figure out how to put their own socks on without women having to tell them how. We bash men as perverts for men having a higher sex drive in most cases than women and for men seeming to place higher value on sex than women. We insert female influence into everything. Anything that’s masculine in nature we try to inject femininity into. In short we empower women to the max and weaken and disempower men to the max. We eliminate traditional gender roles. All of this is just more schemes of Satan to promote the opposite of what God commands.
Interesting. You agree, but are not religious? May I ask why you agree even though you’re not religious? I do not think I’ve ever met a person who is not religious agree with a Biblical perspective, especially regarding such a matter. Thank you for your input.
My suggestions would be at church or online Christian dating sites. You can also use secular sites and set the search criteria in such a way as it will weed out more of the most of the non Christians. Eharmony works great for that and is where I met my wife, who is also a Christian.
If you are not specifically seeking a Christian but someone who is decent person and traditional and of course manly there are many places to find the type of man you’re looking for. As always the internet is an option. It’s becoming very difficult to find this type of man as the younger generations care nothing for God, and care nothing for good morals and decency…all while the younger generations of men run around wearing man buns, wearing skinny jeans, and driving a Toyota Prius. They drink their soy lattes and drink Mikes hard lemonade because they can’t tolerate beer all of which they pay for from their earnings at minimum wage jobs while still living at mommies when they’re 28 years old.

Anyway, places to find men NOT like the type I just mentioned. Consider joining a hiking club or any type of club you have interest in that both genders participate in. Maybe join a volunteer fire hall if you have one near you. Lot of down to earth old school masculine men in such a place. Ultimately it’s the core values of the person and their personality that you’re looking for.
I can probably come up with a lot more ideas as to where you may find such a man if you tell me more about what type of man you’re looking for.

Basically, as with anything subject to a competitive pressure the group will conform to the expectations they are held to. Since men to a large degree want to present themselves in a pleasant way to women be it in a romantic pursuit or just for social interaction they constantly pursue what women want in them. Of course this is oversimplified since reality is a lot more muddy but it still holds true at the end of the day.
Women have moved away from wanting the "masculinity/powerful" man as you call it so the pressure on men instead become to use skincare, pluck their eyebrows etc.. In perhaps a few decades the fashion will have moved on and men will be expected to look differently so who knows what happens then. Its just how things are and have always been.
This has resulted in all sorts of funny standards of beauty over the year ranging from obesity being attractive or whatever the hell this is:
Point is that fashion rarely makes sense and is honestly just a surface level difference. People are still people underneath whatever makeup or silly behavior they adopt. I think your wrong. Plucking eyebrows and scincare routine isn't a sign of femininity. It's the fattening of or society, most men don't do any physical labor anymore, plus within the popular culture, most masculine traits have been categorized as toxic. Along with that, there has been a movement to deter the aggression of men. The reality is that men changed themselves based on what women at the time deem important in a mate. For example, if women value sensitivity, hygiene and emotions. More men will showcase those traits to impress women. The opposite as well. Also something very few people mention. I had a friend, now deceased, found out he had a daughter, was very very happy, found out when she was 6yrs old that he was the father. He also found out that he was the 9th guy tested for paternity, and on top of that they slapped him with 6yrs of back child support that he would of happily paid to be with her for any amount of time. He worked fulltime, did side jobs, helped me when I needed help and I helped him remodel his house. He finally had his past due down to under $8000. He was happy because he thought he could never have kids, the mother was kind in the beginning but it slowly got worse. He continued to pay back, she didn't work. I found him dead on a Saturday morn in his bed 3yrs ago at 45. So there are things going on in this world that people don't understand when they start talking shit. You don't even wanna know bout what my sons have been through, one married 9yrs, the other was with the same girl for 5yrs and had a 1yr old when she left.

I work with nearly exclusively guys. They have different jobs of different kinds. Some more blue-collar, some more white-collar. I must work with upwards of 50 guys. I can't think of any who are like you're describing. I also cannot think of any of the dude's I've known for years who seem to have gotten MORE effeminate as the years have gone by (and this phenomenon has supposedly grown in mainstream popularity).
Some guys have always been like this. And I really don't have strong feelings about that one-way or another. Some places might have a higher-than-average concentration of guys who pluck their eyebrows. But unless you're talking about a dance studio, fashion industry or something like that... I don't think this is really actually happening in real life. No offence. Nothing personal :)
Honestly? It seems like women are their own worst enemies I swear! Men got this way because of what feminists were promoting. Guys didn't just turn up this way randomly. No it's been promoted by the females for decades now. If you want it to change back then at this point its ladies like you who are going to have to fight that narrative. There is already 50+ different opinions from guys here. It's a mix, there is the old fashioned men they do still what masculin people think means, and there is the new age because the old is effecting and doing more damage to the today's man, like never say sorry, never learn to take care of their selves and that is why they marry a house wife, then bot spend time woth their kids which is a must to have kids other wise why are they married and so on. I am a mix, old and new, i can be stubborn but i can cook, clean, do grooceries, take care of the garden, groom the beard, take care of my diabetes, my health, work out, check my feet, go to the doctor, doing house chores and be a gentleman that is well dressed.
Imho there were always less maculine men. It wasn't always socially acceptable to express that with fashion, but other not much has changed. If you see too many men of certain types around, try looking in certain environments. If you look into historical reenactment groups or larp, you may find bearded men who look into history for their ideals of strength, honor and courage. If you wanted to more of the stoic intelligent geeky type, look for wargaming clubs. Such environments tend to have a strong majority of men, all desperate to get a girlfriend who is willing to talk about their favourite subjects, even if she doesn't do the hobby itself.
There's a lot of reasons. Ultimately, as @Exterminatore said, it's Satan's influence. The tools he's used includes two world wars wiping out many of the Men of two consecutive generations, twisting the positive influence of the Suffragette movement into modern man-hating "feminist" agendas and the rise of caricatures of masculinity.
My advice would be find a guy you like and get him to read "Wild at Heart" and "Fathered by God"/"Way of the Wild Heart" by John Eldredge. Those two books will help him find his real masculinity.
I totally agree that men are becoming very feminine nowadays. I think the reason why this is, is because this society has made the people think that masculinity is toxic. So men can't allow themselves to be men anymore because they aren't the providers anymore like in the past, they dont have authority anymore in the house etc. So men are forgetting who they are and what masulinity is, so therefore when they want to attract the oppisite sex they try to beautify themselves with feminine things they find attractive in women, not knowing women are different then men and like masculinity.
On the other hand, women are losing attraction towards masulinity, look at those boyband singers we have today, i find it disguisting how they have become feminine. So i also think the perception of beauty in the eyes of women have changed, so men want to adapt themselves to what women like

Being too clean shaven is pretty effeminate. I mean I keep my private area properly groomed but I don't go as far as to shave my legs and arms... Being a man clean shaven not facial hair? This is all to get into the minds of the young people so they see all of this as normal. Not saying I got anything against these people just they want to brainwash you so you don't make up your own mind on the issue.
Because guys and girls are like ying and yang. If ying changes it will effect yang as well. There are still men that are powerful and dominant but not all for us are. Maybe you´re looking at the "wrong" men because not all men are equally strong. We also have our struggles in dailylife so of us show more of that so of us less. If you know what type of men you look for, make some research where you can find these type of men because they are still around in your area but might be less obvious to be found.
Yeah I became shit and it's good to see there are still women like that thinking like you. Most of men are like that especially in Western society, we don't have that in my country however I see in general of the world being "feminine" became trend these days and most sad thing is women give credits to men like that, they still date them altough these guys don't even deserve to have a woman.
Don't worry, there are still lots of "manly" men. Those lumber jack type of fells. They just arnt on social media as much as the pretty boys. Cause you know... They don't care about what people think of how they look and don't need attention. Real caveman like guys.
I agree with you. Maybe because they think that women like that. I think that this is true especially for young ones as they get influenced by media messages. And marketing messages play a big role too. They think that curated appearance is what attract girls and this is sometimes true for young girls. Older men however, I don't believe are influenced so much and are more authentic.
