We're individuals, with differing talents, interests, and hobbies. No two are alike. Men are different from boys, women are not girls, men aren't women, males are not like females. STEM (science, tech, engineering, maths) fields are dominated by men simply because men tend to be drawn to those subjects, they generally relate better to objects, machinery, processes and so on. Women on the other hand are more "people-oriented"; they are therefore more likely to wind up in careers that reflect that fact (ex. nursing, teaching, psychology), and that is why efforts to balance things out, to get more women to do STEM related courses are doomed to fail. You can't force a person to like something that just doesn't interest them. We're not equal. Some are better than others, and some are more useful to society. If you're going to do a Liberal Arts course focusing on "gender studies", then expect to be unemployed for a LONG time after you complete your course and leave the safe-space of university (unless of course you decide to become a gender studies "professor", and perpetuate the cycle of uselessness).
