European and especially young European are all heading towards the far rights nowadays cause they're sick of immigrant and gay stuff. Just this afternoon a Syrian refugee tried to kill 6 person (and in those people four were children between 18 months and 3 years old) those people are sick.
A lot of French people actually does something when something like this happen. Like not always but often someone try to help. France is getting so violent that a lot of French cities are considered as violent as South America and this is because of drugs trafficking.
I hope so too but there's a lots of idiot and even more who just don't do anything and don't care.
Thank you that's really nice :) I hope things get better and I hope America will also get better cause with Biden and all woke stuff it doesn't sound like it's doing so well
@WhiteBoyChill Marriage, is only protected by federal law and now that we know how quick that can change after abortion it could easily and quickly change to being illegal in a lot of states again. Still wondering how it was less than 8 years ago that it was made legal by a federal law. Also some things some people just dont think about like citizenship for children. There is a thing called "gay panic defense" imagine women could use a "heterosexual panic defense". It was until 2020 it was legal to not hire someone BECAUSE of their sexuality. In a few states its technically legal for landlords to not accept someone as a renter because of their sexuality. This on the purely legal parts. Not even talking about general acceptance. That is an even bigger problem.
@WhiteBoyChill There shouldn't be a single one not accepting it because its literally just a human being. Also Quadrupled in 30 years could mean not much if you have a low number to start with. But again the law side is also worrying.
@msmissydc well guess what? You’re never going to get 100% of the population to think the same way you do.
That’s called life.
Also the figure stands at 70% support.
I’m sure gay people have plenty of welcoming places they can go to in this country. Especially with a figure like 70%
Also it isn’t like I don’t see gay pride flags everywhere I go in my state. In schools, in public libraries, in grocery stores, in the town office, in the town square, outside peoples lawns, at convenience stores.
I see ample evidence of gay people being “persecuted” where I live. If anything, they’re being openly embraced.
How about making an actual difference by lobbying for gay people actually being persecuted in countries like Saudi Arabia?
Because all I see in pride parades is just a bunch of attention whores doing stupid shit and wearing all this ridiculous clothing and demanding that everybody embrace them and posting themselves all over social media like a bunch of narcissists.
To gay people its no longer just about tolerance or co-existence for homosexuals, which is what it was originally about.
It’s now become about outright approval and an embrace of their lifestyle behavior.
Nobody’s going to guilt me into supporting what I can’t understand.
I’m not going to stand in their way, but I ask them to respect my beliefs about homosexuality in the same way I want them to respect my decision not to embrace them.
@msmissydc "There shouldn't be a single one not accepting it..." I, like many others, are never going to accept it. If you can't handle that fact that's your problem, and I really couldn't care less.
I agree with the problem in other countries like saudi arabia (the U. S is another country for me too) but I can't see a way I actually make a change there without endangering my life. No on is forcing you to embrace, it otherwise you wouldn't be able to write something like this. You talk about it not being about tolerance and existence but I strongly disagree. This thread alone is a perfect example why that is still a problem. They aren't talking about making you gay, they just want acceptance and people still deny that. You are respected in not wanting to embrace it but that is different from not even accepting it. I was never in my life forced into embracing their lifestyle, it was always about just being accepted , which for a lot of people is still a problem and I really dont understand why. I was never in a situation where I wasn't accepted for being hetero but I had multiply situations where friends werent accepted because they are NOT hetero.
@msmissydc You do realize things have changed since the early 2000’s?
And you do realize I just told you a majority of society has accepted gay marriage.
So yeah you can make the argument they treat gays like shit in places like MS so why don’t you go there and rally for change if tolerance is so important to you?
@WhiteBoyChill I value my life and freedom more than I want to get myself killed for something with a small success chance, yes. THings have changed yes, for the better but if they stopp than its going to return to what it was. Abortion rights is the perfect example. As long as they are loud and continue at least the rights stay that way and maybe the other problems will get smaller in the future too. Yes a majority has accepted it but obviously not all and more important there are still people who are completly against it, and some actively do something against them. I do what I can so I start where its possible. Why would someone start at the hardest and most dangerous part, when there is still much work to do in simpler and less dangerous parts?
@msmissydc You’re just a chicken and coward is all. Do you think change was ever accomplished at any point in human history without certain people taking risks?
Do you really think the Civil Rights Movement would’ve worked if people just sat at home and groaned about how unfair life was?
That’s exactly what you’re doing. I have yet to hear of meaningful action you’ve undertaken to incite change.
It’s just been nothing but complaining about life being unfair on your end.
All the while you’re too much of a hypocrite to stand up for these people in places where its needed the most.
All because you value your personal safety over the greater good.
Its like you missed the Civil Rights Movement and coming out movement entirely.
Society doesn’t become more tolerant of people until people are willing to take risks.
@WhiteBoyChill So what risks are you taking for people? I think I can help more people being alive. Yes I care about them but throwing away my life is accomplishing nothing at all. You should stop talking like everyone is a hypocrite when they dont want to die. Are you suicidal? For that to change you need to change the whole country and more. Thats nothing an outsider can just do. Maybe you should start voicing an actual opinion what you think and not calling people hypocrites for having an opinion.
I’m not trying to incite change, because I don’t want it.
Then tell me, in what ways have you been helping people thus far?
I’ve yet to hear from you about what you’ve actually done or been doing thus far.
And you should know that 30 years ago a majority of Americans DIDN’T support gay marriage.
That didn’t just magically change on its own.
It took actual effort from people in order to incite change. Something you thus far have been unwilling to play a personal role in.
So yes you are a hypocrite. You give all these people comfort of mind but in reality when they come knocking at your door for help, you’re too concerned about your own safety

Works for me. Finally have a second place to visit.
What exactly is being "ditched"? Does the fact that it's my birthday mean it's no longer New Year's? This is just another addition.
Meaningless, doing something without doing something that actually helps.
Good to see a female prime minister who is not woke, yea Italy needs more white babies.
Ngl how is America gonna give veterans 3 days out of the year and give gay people an entire month?
Not saying there’s anything wrong with gay people or any other type of people but veterans literally fought for Americans
That’s pretty Giga Chad but they also could have made it Dinosaur month.
... I second this notion
@Sirenboobzilla You like dinosaurs? That’s pretty Giga Chad,
Shantungasaurus is my favorite
I think her the prime minister of Italy is a very smart person! Wouldn’t mind having her as my prime minister!
I hope Trump does the same in after 2024
she's a right wing nutter and no doubt will start her own civil war over this somewhere.
Well families are very important and it's more inclusive than PRIDE month because LGBTQ people have families to.
Celebrating families makes sense, celebrating the alphabet people doesn't. Go Italy!
They're right in doing this
I agree.
This is one of the reasons why I am more optimistic about Europe then America at the moment.
European and especially young European are all heading towards the far rights nowadays cause they're sick of immigrant and gay stuff.
Just this afternoon a Syrian refugee tried to kill 6 person (and in those people four were children between 18 months and 3 years old) those people are sick.
I actually saw what happened in Annecy from the French conservative influencers I follow.
At least the guy with the backpack did something about it.
A lot of French people actually does something when something like this happen. Like not always but often someone try to help.
France is getting so violent that a lot of French cities are considered as violent as South America and this is because of drugs trafficking.
Mostly and immigration.
I hope more people wake up in France.
I have nothing but love and admiration for your country so I truly hope things get better.
I hope so too but there's a lots of idiot and even more who just don't do anything and don't care.
Thank you that's really nice :)
I hope things get better and I hope America will also get better cause with Biden and all woke stuff it doesn't sound like it's doing so well
True Biden is messing up the country.
Sometimes things look bad before they get better.
Hopefully both our countries get better.

Give me a break!
Well, this is one "birth" that should have been prevented by an abortion.
And just how are gay people still being persecuted?
@Siri137 Very good comment and spot on.
This!!! People dont understand it or dont want to understand it.
@msmissydc And just how are gay people still being persecuted?

@msmissydc Well guess what? Look at any poll and acceptance for gays has like quadrupled over the past 30 years?
What more do you want?
And just don’t go to the deeply religious states and you’ll have no problem.
@WhiteBoyChill There shouldn't be a single one not accepting it because its literally just a human being. Also Quadrupled in 30 years could mean not much if you have a low number to start with. But again the law side is also worrying.

Stop paying people lip service. Virtue signalling doesn’t actually help people enduring real persecution.
All it does is make you feel good about yourself, but you’re not actually being part of the solution.
Italy apparently hasn't learned from their past about fascism
You think this is "fascism"? Really? Because they ditched their disgusting "gay pride" groomer month?
@Siri137 because they are dictating what is and isn't morally acceptable. And Christianity is the groomer of kids.
Well Italians are racist, sexist, homophobic and anti vegan. Says a lot a bout them. They are scared if change.
What a great idea to celebrate the family
Good for them, wish Norway would follow
I think it is a good idea..
Support it. 👍
Great
Both are important.
