Hand position in pictures?

When taking a picture with a guy, does body language really matter? For example, in one picture, the guy puts his arm around the girls shoulder. In another picture, he puts his arm around her waist. Both girls are the same height and neither of them are dating this guy.

Generally, body language during a picture is something that I personally wouldn’t read too much into. I think it’s instinctual, that during a picture, people huddle together or get closer. Maybe somebody who’s showing interest will want to get next to the person their interested in, but most of the time it’s just people getting together for a picture. Anyways, HOVER HAND came to mind when I read this! LOL! Google it.
