So, have you ever had a crush on someone else when you had a boyfriend/girlfriend?
Do you still get crushes when you have a boyfriend/girlfriend?
So, have you ever had a crush on someone else when you had a boyfriend/girlfriend?
I have a crush on a guy right now and I have a boyfriend. Right now I feel like I'm trapped :( It makes me sad and sometimes I cry because I don't think I love my boyfriend anymore and I wish I did because he is such a nice and gentle guy. At school I find myself getting crushes on guys and I do not think that is right. It's OK to think someone is cute or hot but actually really licking them and fantasizing about how a relationship with them might work out is not OK, which is what I do. I believe if you really are in love you should not be developing these type of crushes. I really like my boyfriend as a friend. He is my best friend but I do not love him in a sexual way. I care for him but I can't see myself with him for the rest of my life. The thing is I don't have the guts to break up with him. I am everything to him and he depends on me a lot. I feel like I am trapped in this relationship because he got a tattoo of my name, which makes me feel really guilty. I feel like I owe him and I can't bring myself to break up with him. I don't know what to do... ;(
Being in a relationship doesn't turn off your ability to be attracted to other people (thinking they're hot, liking their personality, enjoying their company, etc.). I don't see it as a problem either, as long as you're ethical about it (i.e. it's okay to check out someone you think is cute, or be friends with someone who you get along well with and could see yourself dating if the situation was different, but it's not okay to cheat on your partner, neglect your partner's needs because you're too busy being infatuated with someone else, or to lead someone on when you never intend on being with them because you're already in a relationship).
Speaking personally, no. Haha, I'm pretty stuck on my boyfriend. I'm sure it has something to do with some pretty bad encounters I had before I met my boyfriend (the kind that make me afraid of most men, unfortunately). To be honest, I get downright p*ssed off when other guys hit on me, especially if they know I'm committed already. Well, to add a detail that might or might not matter: I'm pregnant. He's the only man in my eyes, the father to our baby. But then, I think I've felt that way since we started dating each other.
She was the one who hit on me. When we first met, she went out of her way to talk to me alone.
And she had a boyfriend? Then, I think that's a pretty shady thing for her to do to both of you. Leading you on, and doing that behind her boyfriend's back. Shame on her behavior.
I mean, it wasn't like she was trying to pick me up. She was acting on her crush like she was single.
Totally possible. I'm married and crush on pretty girls all the time. They're fun and innocent... sometimes a little flirting. And, yes, my wife knowsabout these crushes and I know about hers. We tease each other about them. The nice thing is that they make our nights a lot more fun because the crush gets the juices flowing and we enjoy the benefits together.
Wow, it's really interesting reading all these answers from the ladies. Seems like it's a pretty common thing to have crushes while in a relationship. Maybe I'm confusing the difference between a crush and a romantic interest?

I'm in a situation like that right now, and I think it's gone beyond a crush. I'm not proud of myself, but I can't help it. Well, I could of course. But the thing is I don't want to.
I'm not sure what to do now. Whether to break up with my boyfriend or not, or to continue like this. I don't know what I'm gonna do yet.
in china ,there is a proverb that 'Beauty lies in lover's eyes'!
when you fall in love with someone deeply,
you will not have a crush on someone else!
yes I have.. but its just a crush.. I'm in love with my boyfriend and love every moment we have together. but sometimes and only sometimes I think what it would be like with this guy or this guy. and I do have a crush on one boy, but I get over it. I don't flirt and we are just friends but I keep him my friend for future reference. ha ha good luck!
I Love My Boyfriend so damn much, and ever since dating him I have honestly never perved on another guy, and I haven't had a single little year 5 crush either.. :) I have eyes only for my amazing guy and nothing can change that :D <3 <3
I think it actually MAKES me have more crushes. It gives me more confidence and helps me notice everyone that was trying to make a move on me.
(I have depression so I almost never have crushes or am horny unless I'm dating someone. And I'm taking prozac, which makes me NEVER horny. It sucks.)
:(
I think yes,
you can have a crush on someone, when you have a girlfriend/boyfriend.
But it's just a crush, nothing more.
They obviously have much stronger feelings to there girlfriend/boyfriend, it's not just a crush.
Nope. I seem to be incapable of noticing someone else when I have a girlfriend.
Definitely, but I'd never consider acting on them. They're just kind of... entertaining.
Yes, but they're innocent and I wouldn't even consider ending things with my boyfriend for it. It's just like a little 5th grade crush if that makes sense.
i voted no. when I'm happy in my relationship I just don't crush on other guys. I'm just that way
its not wrong it human. just don't act on it unless you end it with the other. don't cheat!
yes ofcourse we humans always wander here and there ...lolzzz
Actions speak louder than words. Even if she had a crush on another guy, she was dating you.
I'm engaged to the man of my dreams and, yeah, I do have the ocasional crush. but I never let it get out of hand. I always remember that a crush is a passing phase and love is forever. I would never try to lead a guy on tho, that's just mean :(
I've thought about dating other guys when I was with my boyfriend, just the thought of it is so exciting, Maybe cause I never really loved him..
personally I don't
