It's just nerves, I used to have the same problem as well. What helped me was to realize that I didn't NEED to be impressive to them, I just wanted to be, and if I wasn't impressive then there were always other attractive people out there. Just try to relax, take a deep breath, and take it from there. Let them see you for you :)
your uncomfortable with yourself... go out dressed like a lunatic and own it know that no ones opinion matters except your own if you love yourself other people will start... it will also open you up to some guys who maybe aren't so cute but you can see how they really are

You are probably nervous or a little insecure around them. Some of this is normal. Same thing happens to guys who run into good looking girls. Just being yourself will go a long way -- after all they probably want to meet you too.
