cardio burns fat. I'm a swimmer and I know that you won't burn many calories if you have crappy technique. But try something new, I tried rowing and loved it (the long skinny boats with 8 people) and I ate less meat and lots of steamed vegetables and fresh fruit and not a lot of milk/ milk products and in 3 weeks I lost 13 lbs. I was rowing 2 hours Monday to Friday. We would do a lot of stretching as well and push ups and crunches.
Basically because I'm so used to swimming it doesn't challenge my body, so you just need to challenge yourself even if you don't do a lot, I was really surpirsed about my weight loss because it wasn't "intense" it was an introductory summer camp to rowing lol.
Good Luck! I really hope that helped.

just stay on your feet a lot and do cardio. It should help, I lost 5lbs in 2weeks by walking a minute then jogging a minute for an hour a day.. If that makes sense lol. I took Sundays off tho. I think it was water weight after about a month I gave up because jogging on the stupid treadmill was just killin my feet, now I just go for walks while my daughters napping
It is a misconception that you will burn fat around the muscles you work out. Your body doesn't work like that. It's not like your muscles are like
"NEED MOAR ENERGY! MUST CONSUME NEAREST FAT DEPOSITS! NOM NOM NOM!"
In fact, doing crunches may make your stomach look bigger, as you could be growing the muscles under the fat. The best way to lose any weight is lots of aerobic activity. That's really all there is to it.

Sugar, simple carbs, processed foods, not enough sleep and stress are your biggest enemies. Exercise, reduce stress, get a good nights sleep and avoid the types of foods I mentioned. It isn't perfect but it helps.
I would just work it off like go running and try to do pushups. I tend to try to stay active in whatever I do and it helps. like walking instead of driving wherever I can.
Spot weight loss is hard, because you cannot control where the weight comes off.
However, in short, cut your portion sizes, cut out added sugar, fast food, and bread.Swim.
