I dated this guy for a month 2 years ago..things were really intense that it even scared me off a little, all of a sudden he went cold turkey on me...a few months later he got a gf(who he is still with)...he recently resurfaced apologizing for his disappearing act and told me that he wasn't ready for something "serious", he thought that telling me that would actaully "ruin any future for us"...he says his current girlfriend is nothing serious and just a convenience(messed up I know) and that neither of them actaully put a lot of effort into the relationship so it works out for now..he says once he's established in his work than he will look to settle down..hes 24 I'm 22, to be honest I'm still in love with him, I never felt this way about anyone else in such a short amount of time...from a guys perspective is he feeding me lines or is he being honest?
Sounds to me like he isn't being honest at all. Of course he was ready for a relationship...just not with you...because he found a new interest...and now he is bored of her and wants to see if he can still connect with you. Up to you what you want to do, but I'd say his honesty and commitment are going to be issues for you now and down the road.

Doesn't it matter what the truth is?
Fact is he wronged you ... you don't go forgiving stuff like that.
