We’ve been through a lot together (cancer, illness, etc…)
I’m 28 and he’s 35. He’s everything a good decent housewife boring woman wants. He’s handsome, faithful, hard working, respectful, has good manners and friends but only goes out for dinner here and there w/ them, and a kind hearted man.
On the other hand, I’m the opposite. I’m my own boss, I don’t have friends, I
trust, nobody, my mind is always on the next step trying to be better and I do flirt with other guys only if they are good enough for me to change my husband. I still can’t forget my first love who’s exactly like me but more of a cheater.
My relationship has the potential to be perfect but it’s me who doesn’t want it because he’s not my type and I hate that I wasted my life with a boring guy like him. I tried to be better but when I have problems he doesn’t defend me and acts like a chicken.

I am not asking you why you married him. I see you were just 20. That’s a very young age. We all make mistakes and seems like you made a mistake. Especially at such a young age. I am sure you are a good person, who, unfortunately isn’t a right fit for the person she is married to. He might be an angel, you might be an angel but it still might not work out, unless there’s the will from both sides and if you don’t want him now at his age, will you want him years later.

You can also talk to a therapist, maybe there’s something you can do to save the marriage?

I wish my mom did the same… My dad is an amazing person, but they only made each other’s lives miserable by not being right for each other. There’s nothing they could do. They personalities are so different there was no way for them to work it out without sacrificing their mental well-being and peace of mind. They worked it out, they are still married, but on what expense?

This is funny, sad too for him. Sounds as though you picked a man who you were able to control. A man who you don’t have respect for. Someone you were able to run all over, get your way w as far as what you wanted. Doesn’t sound like he stands up for himself or tells you no much. Always tries to do everything maybe to make you happy which sure sounds ideal to women but they realize dude at least fight back, be a man, argue w me once in a while.
