My best friend cheated on her boyfriend and blamed me?

I love my best friend. She's great in so many ways. But something happened recently. Her and her boyfriend were "on a break" when she came up to visit me at uni. Their break-up was only temporary, and she wanted to look for guys that might interest her at my uni, so I introduced her to this guy. She ended up hooking up with him and slept with him.

She then called her boyfriend crying because she slept with another guy on their break and he 'officially' dumped her. After that, she didn't talk to me as much and I found out that she told him I encouraged her to hook up with the other guy and she's not at fault. And now her boyfriend, who I was friends with, hates me. He has taken her back but blocked me on everything and she has been not answering my texts.

What should I do?

1. You knew that their break up was temporary and she would be returning to the relationship with your male friend, so helping her to find a guy for a hook up was rather stupid.

2. However, you are not in charge of her panties, when they stay up and when they go down. Her having sex with the guy was her decision, not yours.

3. The guy chooses to blame you rather than her because that allows him to continue having sex with her for some additional weeks or months.

4. She sacrificed her friendship with you because having sex with this guy was more important to her.

5. I suspect that their relationship will falter soon.

6. I suspect that your friendship with this girl is already finished, though you may have not yet acknowledged it.

Did you hold a gun to her head and force her to to have sex with him? Did you open her legs for her? The answer to those questions are no. This is my massive issue i have with women these days NONE of them take responsibility for their actions. they always want to blame their men, or blame their friends. Not place the blame squarely on them selves where it belongs. Your friend needs to grow the fuck up and apologize to you, If she cannot do that she's not worthy of being your friend.

were you just introducing or knew she was going to hook up? depends on your intentions however, you didn't say to her- you must sleep with this random guy i am introducing you to. no one forced her she had free will and choices. people need to take personal responsibility for their own actions instead of blaming others for their bad choices.. how many other things has she thrown you under the bus about and you might not even be aware with the boyfriend using you as the scapegoat? they did you a favor blocking you move on that's it a train wreck in process
