I see it a lot, many young girls expecting to have their expenses paid for. Because they’re very young and oh so beautiful, they feel very entitled and want to be treated like a princess. Don’t they know that looks don’t last forever and they’ll probably be replaced like nobody’s business when they reach their 30s and 40s? Those type of girls absolutely despise me. And it saddens me when people assume ALL girls, be it young or old, are like that.

I don't think age is really the factor. All women really want that regardless of how old they are. Men want that too. That's one of the main reasons why men and women get married. People want financial security. I understand what you mean. Some young women do look for older men simply because they want money. That's a big problem for older men who start looking for desperate young women in other countries. I would imagine there are plenty of young women like that in places like Venezuela and Honduras. They just want the money in a man's bank account. They spend most of that money and find another man with plenty of money in his bank account. That's the real reason why so many of the "sugar daddy" relationships don't last. It's easy for a young woman to become infatuated with an older man if he can afford to give her everything she wants for a period of two or three years. The party does have a tendency to end after that period of time unless the guy is making $75,000 or more every year.

I'm reasonably well off and I have, in the past, have had women try to use me for money.

It doesn't work on me and I have found that not demonstrating my wealth is a good way to avoid gold diggers. I still, even at my age, get chatted up and find women will buy me drinks (I do buy back when they do).

But if a woman chats me up and expects me to buy her a drink then she gets nothing from me apart from sarcasm (this usually happens when I have to wear a suit for business reasons and go to a pub or bar)

I tend to like to date older guys, but not really because of their money but I am more interested in their personality and the way they see life (which is way different than guys my age).
I honestly would feel weird if they buy me expensive things, and I always offer to pay my half. So it really depends on the person is what I am trying to say.

If an older guys is are flexible on looks, he may be able to circumvent this to a large extent. If he's got to have a very beautiful woman, well, of course there will be lots of competition and of course she will have more leverage and can filter guys out who don't have the money and status she craves.

In many parts of the world, the young attractive woman is being pressured by her family to find a guy with money who will help support the whole family.

When you have a college age female with an older guy 40 and older, 99% of the time is because he is her sugar daddy.

The term trophy is used for these females, be it a trophy girlfriend or a trophy wife. The thing about these females is, that they know they are in a temporary position and they are out to get the most out of the guy they are with before they get the boot. But there are enough of them that have been able to make the relationship become permanent or walked away with big payoffs at the end of a relationship or gotten a big divorce settlements that encourage other young females to add to their number year after year thinking they can get the same thing.

Most of these female that play the older man game are not dumb, and most will already have a another guy on the hook by the time the guy she is with starts showing signs he is losing interest.
