Oh yeah, I used to identify as mgtow a while back. Now I don't really like identifying as anything not well defined. People have their skewed interpretations of mgtow. Within the ideology & outside of it. And I just don't wanna get caught up in all of that drama.

Well to be fair attractiveness is subjective... If I meet someone who is rude and has a bad attitude even if they are objectively physically "attractive" I won't find them attractive, I think that's how it works for most humans.

@Subarugirl - No, that's not how it usually goes. Usually, people are more lenient with more attractive people. We have the "Halo Effect" to thank for that. It even occurs in babies.

Our brains view more attractive people as healthier than less attractive people. Which causes us to attribute more positive traits to the more attractive person. We probably have our ancestral way of life to thank for that. We don't have to deal with as many diseases as they did. So a well-developed person would have been more attractive than a deformed &/or diseased person. And ofc it's a relative thing. But nonetheless, still a thing.

I imagine it happens because even if one primate doesn't get along with another primate, they can still reproduce with the attractive primate to create healthy offspring. Whereas, if we didn't reproduce just because we didn't get along, that wouldn't be beneficial for our species in the long run. People either wouldn't be mating or they'd be mating with less physically healthy primates.

You can even see within the way relationships are going nowadays. Look at divorce statistics & listen to anecdotal stories from the masses. We aren't meant to primarily get along. We're meant to find each other sexually appealing enough so we can fuck and pop out more of us. For whatever reason.
