Why are women's expectations for dating and marriage so high?

I'm just curious, why do so many women have unrealistic expectations when it comes to dating and marriage? Every woman I've met wants the ideal large 4-6 bedroom house, a couple of luxury cars, lavish vacations, social media posts to brag, expensive/creative dates, private school for the kiddos (for at least 2 to 3 kids), and pets. Is this every woman's dream?

What are your dreams? Men and women please advise.

A lot of them are going by what older women, whom they trust, have told them and they’re super absorbent as kids, and you combine that with a lot of resurfacing vulnerability, and not feeling the feelings of warmth with guys, that they feel/ felt with the elderly women in their lives and development,

the woman who’s playing defense any chance she gets, especially if you’re not committed to being clear that you’re not out to HURT her… which c’mon, shouldn’t be too hard to prioritize that, but I understand guys have their brainwashings from elder men, as well. Still, that should be clear and women could benefit from not being, so paranoid, as well, and being resilient.

I don't need a couple of luxury cars. But now that you mention it, two cars might be a good idea with that many kids, as then one parent can drive one kid to their extra curricular activities, while the other parent does the same with the other car.

it shouldn't be unless they themselves bring something to the table of similar value. for what you've described, the woman would need to be perfect wife material i. e. a virgin, pro-life, wants kids, has domestic skills, has discipline, integrity, honesty and loyalty to all especially when you're not around so she isn't doing anything behind your back etc.

@skilled_jellyfish The difference is that, as you said, most older single women who still have those expectations are indeed delusional. For many women in their 20s, their expectations may actually be realistic because they still have a lot of power in dating. If their expectations are unrealistic, they won't be able to get / keep a man than meets them so at that point it's a self-correcting problem.

A man can go to a gym, have healthy diet if he wants to look better, and in shape, be considered hotter. Same goes for women. They can also change their dressing style if their current taste isn't considered attractive by opposite gender. And loser is subjective... Bottom line, a person can fucking work on themselves if they're so desperate for attention and dates. These "problems" you speak of are solvable.

Some men (and women) take it WAY too personally for someone not being attaracted. Doesn’t mean someone is judging them or does not like them on a personal level.
