Do you ever avoid asking out a person because of this?

So obviously you find a person attractive if you are going to ask them out. Do you ever worry that they may already have a SO? I mean, you can't be the only person who found them attractive. Granted most people can find their social media to discover that, but sometimes people don't really have any. My girlfriend didn't, I went into asking her out without knowing if she had a boyfriend. If she hadn't been waiting for me to ask her out, I wouldn't have been able to date her. She rejected two men waiting for me to ask her out.

So there’s ways to figure this out , outside of social media honestly. If a person is constantly juggling around the plans you have made with them/ they don’t have much time to hang out with you , chances are there might be another person in the picture whether they are dating already or just talking.

I'm growing older and I assume most of the attractive guys I like are either players or taken. I let them come to me for that reason, you initiate - a rejection or "I'm taken," is almost guaranteed.

Yeah since I don’t know if they are single I probably won’t since that’s an automatic rejection I wouldn’t want to hear, makes me wonder why women don’t also do the asking or at least hint that they are interested

I practically dated dudes who never told me they had a girlfriend, let alone a fiance. So no i dont worry about that 😂 but once i find out, i leave. I have a bad habit of just assuming everyone is single (if i dont see a ring on their finger or if they dont state that they’re taken)
