I will try to make this as short as possible, but the story has a lot of twists...
I (m26) was dating this foreign student (f24) from February to April. Things were going well untill she suddenly said she wants to stop. Truth be told, she is not much of a communicator. Long story short, we still had some sort of communication, then we started fighting, i was the only one trying to fix it, and we stopped talking when i gave up. We didn't talk for 3 months, and then she reached out and everything looked decent again. Mind you, we didn't start dating again. Then, we had a massive fight and i refused to try to fix it again. She contacted me a week later, and we solved it. She said that she doesn't want anything serious because she is going back to her country in a couple of months, and i agreed. The communication problem was smaller, but remained. Yet, she started being jelous, always asking about the girls she sees me with, and asking if i am seeing someone. I went on dates, but i wasn't dating anyone seriously. To put her mind at ease, i said that i will tell her if i get serious with anyone.
I invited her to my place, and she accepted. I made it clear that it is a date, and even said it openly when i went to pick her up. Once we arrived, i started making moves, but encountered heavy resistance. She said that she "needs to process". So, we started talking. In short: she still likes me, she broke up before because she thought i was manipulating her (i wasn't). She does not want to get attached because she is leaving in a few months. She said she didn't know this was a date (?). Again, she offered friendship, and i again refused. She said that she knows i will now behave differently with her. I agreed. Then she asked will we still see each other, and i said that there is no point. I could see that she was sad, so i said that she has other friends she can hang out with. She responded that she can't replace me. We are not talking for 7 days now.
What's going on here?
