Am I wrong to hate my boyfriend over this?

Okay so my boyfriend went to Las Vegas with his family for a family event. The event was at the house then they took the party to the Las Vegas strip. And there my boyfriend was with his 3 cousins and brothers. And all of them were talking to girls and getting girls Instagrams. Like 4 girls. He said it was innocent. But I feel like that fucked our whole relationship up. Am I wrong?

Man that really sucks that your dude was flirting with other girls like that when he was with his family in Vegas. I'd probably be kinda pissed too if I was you. Getting other girls' Instagrams doesn't really seem that innocent to me.

I can see why you'd feel like it messed up your whole relationship now. Trust is pretty important, and I'm sure it'll be hard not to doubt what he's doing anytime you're not together after something like that. On the other hand, it was Vegas so people do crazy stuff there sometimes. And he was out with his whole family so it's not like he was trying to secretly hook up with someone.

I don't think you're necessarily wrong to be mad. Your feelings are valid. But hating him over it seems a little extreme too. Maybe you guys need to have a really honest talk about boundaries and what you're both comfortable with in the relationship. Figure out if this was just a one-time mistake or if there's deeper issues. Try to understand where he's coming from too even if you don't agree.

If you really care about each other, maybe you can work past it with some effort. But you also don't want to stay with someone who consistently disrespects you, so don't let him off too easy either. Tough spot for sure. Just don't make any big decisions until you've both cooled down and talked it out I'd say. Hope you can work it out!

If you're that insecure, your relationship was fucked already, you just didn't know it yet. So the boys got some insta girls to look at - big deal. He didn't do anything but look, right? At your age, you should be old enough to know that just because you're dating a guy he isn't going to stop looking at other pretty women.

As for his need to talk to her, what does that have to do with your own insecurity. And you just prove my point by assuming that any guy who's ever said that to his g/f is already cheating. Do you have any IDEA how many women will see their boyfriend simply TALKING to another woman and assume he's cheating or hitting her up?

Perhaps you should consider that he felt the noose you don't think is around his neck, but he perceives as being there, was off for a weekend and he could have some harmless fun. Or maybe he's insecure too and was checking to see that he could still GET some babe's number or IG?

Since the very mention of looking at your own reaction to his behavior triggers you to the point where you think it fucked your WHOLE relationship, I'm sticking to my initial assessment. That is, check your green monsters, especially since nothing beyond taking IG's happened.
