Before you say that would have to mean you were okay, that's not necessarily true. There are names that are used for both genders. Example Cameron can be a boy or girls name, same with Blake, and so on.

No, I absolutely hate when other people have the same name as me. It used to be much more unique until someone famous had the same first name. Now everyone has the name. It's awful. Also, could you imagine screaming your own name in bed? I can't imagine any non narcissist enjoying that.

First name is possible. Ashley is common & unisex.

However last name. My surname is extremely rare. As in 1 in 51,000,000 Americans may have it as per forebears dot io. If he has the same surname we'd definitely be related.

I've gone on a date with someone with the same first name, and a different person with the same last name, but never the same first and last. If it was the right person I probably would consider it, but that would get confusing!

As someone whose first name is one of the few (in modern American culture, at least) that doesn't have a female version, that would require parents who were either negligent or EXTREMELY confused.

It would be a bit weird if there was a woman named my name, but assuming mine was different and it was more gender neutral, yeah I wouldn’t have a problem. I would like to get a DNA test done fairly soon though.
