I don't mind any shift hours to be honest. When I was younger, I worked a couple of shift jobs and could get stuff done in the morning while the shops weren't crazy.
Am okay with 8am till 5pm so far but sometimes I have to start ma day at exactly 5:30am till 5 or 6pm and hate reporting early for work n then I end up exiting ⏰ late.
I prefer doing 3× 12 hour days or 4× 10. I try to stay away from nightshift now. You miss out on social activities plus you often get blamed for things or overworked

Lately I have been working a split shift. Start at 4:30am and second split ends around 4:30 or 5pm. After hours off mid day around 10 to 2.
Totally exhausted when I come home. Also I am not a morning person so that makes it even worse.
Always leaned heavily to night shift. I look half my age so it paid off.
Working from home cause I can do stuff whenever. Even at 2am. No one would know 🤣
Im at home too butt still have to abide by schedule. Sometimes they make us work on cam
No way!!! That’s crazy!!
I used to work 7AM-3PM. I used to leave before the traffic got bad.
I worked that about a year. I dont miss that shit either but its better than 12-10p.
I did 12-10 for a while too. I did not like it much.
7p-10p is the only relaxing time of day i get. They can kiss my ass
yes.
Is this a short term or long term change in your schedule? 12n-9pm is an odd time.
I prefer to get in and out 7a-3p,7a-5p, or 7a-7p
Usually we work a sched 3 months at a time
Ok so it's not long term. So I'd do it but ugh still it's like u can't do shit with that schedule
Thats long term for me because i take drowsy medication for this upcoming lumbar stuff
Them I wouldn't do it

Omg yes 5 and 6 is too early
weird how i do wake up lol at 5:30 am and live work at 6pm.
WOW noon till 10 pm sucks big time. I prefer to work 6 or 7 am. till when ever we get done.
I just prefer to be off before 7p
2nd shift. 2pm to 10pm. It's literally perfect for me. I haven't set an alarm clock in 7 years.
Yea thats similar to my new sched. Im not too happy
I had a shift from 8-4 on weekdays. For a cop, that's the Holy Grail.
For anyone thats amazing lol! I last had that when we were in training
I lucked into it too. That was the shift that was open when I joined.
Well my job changes you anywhere between 7am and 11pm when they feel like it
Ewwwwwwww
Which is why im pissed rn
That is fair
I like first. 8-4. 6-2. I like sleeping and being able to have time during the day
Yasss

Exactly and thats why im annoyed they mandated thid
What kind of work do you do?
Federal office stuff
If I had to do 8 hours, maybe... 9 to 5, or 10 to 6 to get a little more sleep and deal with waking up better.
EIM: 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM. 8 to 4 is ideal to me.
Most definitely
That's swing shift, my favorite shift. Night shift starts at 9 or 10 pm
Oh well yea i dont like this swinger shit lol
Haha
I prefer my current shift timing which is 9 to 6.
Although I feel like 9 long hours is still too much for a day.
I def would prefer that. Thats basically what I've been working up until tomorrow
In my 20's I preferred working nights. But since I preferred working days.
I'm usually on once or twice a week but I see you must of had a stressful week. Once on mornings I never liked going back to nights
If I was working , I'd take the typical 9-5 shift because then I would have the whole evening-night with my partner and friends.
I always thought morning was the best. Being done for the day at like 2 or 3 is amazing.
Exactly
