I would want a little bit of both. In the world we live in you can't have that unless you're making a good amount of a salary. I wouldn't mind if my wife would stay home with the kids but if she wanted to do something on the side to make some money I'm all for it as well. I would prefer her to stay home and accomplish whatever she wanted to while I bring in the money but unfortunately the world we live in we. you can't really do that
Yes this is ideal. in my opinion its the only kind of way a relationship makes sense. If she dont do all the household chores and act like a lady why am i even bothering to put any effort in? Just saying.
Yes. My wife stayed home for 11 years to take care of the kids. They didn't have to get up at 5AM to get ready to go to some day care place. When they were sick my wife took care of them and they got to play in their own back yard.
Yeah, I get it works for some people, but back then it wasn't exactly ideal for people like myself and my wife. Besides what are we supposed to do if we are both stay at home mothers?
For a while before we had kids the plan was for her to get pregnant and then once the baby arrived I would be staying home because she really wanted to be in a work place. I was fine with that and started actually making money playing online poker for a few years. Once they started freezing accounts for online gambling and none of the attempts for her to get pregnant stuck I went back to the office.
When she finally did manage to have a viable pregnancy we were both working for the same place making good money so we decided to continue working and my brother would watch our son during the day.
If you mean with our set up, we have been both working from home and the kids are doing remote learning. Her desk setup is downstairs so that she can have a kid on either side of her and keep them on task. Mine is upstairs and I handle getting them through homework and evening routines. It's all pretty organized. We just warn the other one of meetings so we know where the kids need to be at those times.
If you are talking about in general, I am currently quarantined to the computer room. I've been getting sick and today I have been having some breathing difficulties. Better safe than sorry.
Nope, no underlying issues. If it gets worse I probably will go. Just sound like an 80 year old smoker at the moment. Other than feeling run down and tired and a cough/gasp if I need to talk for more than a few minutes, I'm relatively ok.
Not every man treats his wife badly. If the woman wants to work, she should work, but it would be better for her to take care of the children and do housework at home. Children should grow up with their mothers.
I stay home and take care of my kids now. And no I would not want to go back to just being out every night chilling and clubbing. So I'll take the at home thing, thank you very much.
It’s different now. There are both stay at home mothers and fathers. It’s up to the parents really. Some people work from home and are able to take care of their children at the same time
If the husband earns enough to pay the bills and the couple wants a couple kids, being a stay home mom is a great thing.

Hell no. I love modern women and career women. They're great. I don't want the 1950s to come back. I like it the way it is now with the exception of social media. as a ambitious man i want a businesswoman as a girlfriend or wife.
I applaud any woman who wants to be a stay at home mother... Her job is harder than most and with less pay. Kudo's to you...

There was a study back in 2018/19 which said that most women would prefer being a housewife if they had the option. Stay at home moms was on the rise amongst liberal women (50%) which is very interesting.

@Ez-Bri-Z I get it, somebody has to work. This was something we decided before we got married. Believe it or not I actually had a plan for something.

@Ez-Bri-Z Sounds like a plan. how's it going by the way?

@Ez-Bri-Z You sound like you have a good handle on it. If you don't start feeling better tomorrow, go see the doc.
Probably will. Pretty sure gasping for air at times isn't normal lol
@Ez-Bri-Z nope, if you do not have any underlying issues it would not be crazy talk to go to urgent care tonite.

@Ez-Bri-Z nothing to mess with.
Makes me think of this looney tunes episode

Motherhood is the most undervalued job.
@MudRucker Motherhood is very precious in my country. i don't live in America

Would that be a bad thing?

Isn't it better if women just have the option of doing whatever they want?
Being a housewife raising kids is an undervalued job.
@MudRucker yessss
I would love to go back to much simpler times when it was extremely cheap to live and more affordable than today
No, I wouldn't. I think women are highly intelligent and capable beings, and they deserve more than to be stuck at home all day.
Many years ago my people would be enslaved 🤦🏽♀️ So no..
Id like to have it split. We both could go to work and do the household work.
It's not for me but the options there if you find a guy rich enough to do that
Not particularly but I think people were happier and more content with their lives then
No I would like my future wife to have a career as well

Nope. There are women who like staying at home but forcing women to stay at home just like in the 50s is bad and i dont wanna go back there
