Why do people assume your jealous if your not impressed?

I had a cousin that everybody said was gorgeous and I said she was average looking because I thought she was ugly and I lost two female friends for saying that cause they thought I was jealous of females who looked better than me

And I had a rich cousin who lied all the time and people kept saying I was jealous of her cause I would criticize her for lying to people - my stalker mocks me at least a dozen times a week saying I’m jealous of my cousin for being popular and rich

Why is it so hard for people to believe that not everybody cares about that or views things the way that they do?

People draw their own goddamn conclusions on what they think somebody else is thinking or maybe because they think they look good

I guess it also comes down to how and when you express your opinion about them. If you are constantly saying that you think your cousin is average-looking or that your other cousin is a liar then of course they are going to jump to the conclusion that you are probably jealous of them. Now if that's not the case, and you have only said what you think about them very few times, respectfully and without sounding mean. Then it's their problem they are probably just mad that they couldn't impress you. Honestly, my best advice is to just act unbothered every time they talk about them.
