as a caregiver i find seniors are into lots of things i am- its pretty cool to have that in common and def as topics during our days, even video games. i think the problem is not many people care about seniors, which is sad

I don't know if you noticed but the video doesn't work on G@G.
I would find it cool and funny. Maybe we could play together 😂

Given that she’s well into her sixties… I’d find it VERY odd! I did get her to try my Oculus VR Headset… she was just amazed with the living room you go to before anything starts! She just kept moving her head around, saying “oh wow!” Then up, “Oh, oh wow!” Then “oh my god, I want THAT kitchen… so where is this, you know ACTUALLY? Whose house is this?” I said it’s nobody’s house, it’s just one’s and zero’s inside the headset! “Oh my god! This is amazing…” I said would you like one? She replied, “don’t be ridiculous, it might look impressive, but it’s still just for playing games, do I look like a child, I’ve got better things to do than sit around playing games, but I really want that kitchen!” So, I don’t think there is any risk of MY grandma starting to play video games!
That would be awesome. But unreal. My dad (70 year old) playes red alert 2 and Yuri's revenge (i tought him) and thats it. My brother plays video games but he plays barley an hour a month, why waste money like that. One of my cousins that lives in Canada now is a beast at playing DOOM , he has a youtube and twitch channel. And another cousin that playes like 1 game a year and he can't move on from playing league of legends. I play a lot of games but i was not so active this year uploading to my youtube channel.
I would find it really strange as she’s been dead a good while.
imagine a modern seance when they speak to the dead,
’hey do you mind not calling me when I’m playing Call of Duty, I can talk to my grandson later, after I ice this mother fucker’I'm surprised more elderly people aren't. Old people love stuff from their youth and these people grew up in the hey day of arcades around Pac man, donkey Kong and space invaders etc. Now their less mobile, video games seem the perfect way to pass the days i'n gods waiting room.

I AM that grandmother except the part of having grandkids yet. I think my kids like me playing games with them but at the moment they don't care much about the old systems. Thats ok, I hope that if they don't have the same hobby that they at least give them to a loving collector.
When my grandma died and we were cleaning out her house, I found out that she had our old Nintendo and had been playing the games. She had notebooks with level codes. As far as I could tell, her favorite was the original Legend of Zelda game. lol She never said anything about any of that. I wish I'd known while she was alive. I would have loved to play games with my grandma.
Id be weirded out of my grandma was into video games. All she really does is give religious lectures.
I'd find it odd because none of my grandmothers ever expressed being into video games
Yes, because my grandmother was never really into tech and really scared of the new technology. She was against my grandpa getting a pc, still sees the internet as a giant scam where people get screwed over, getting their credit card stolen, ...
I would find it creepy. Grandma should be sewing and gardening and cooking and doing Pilates.
Cool and odd! Thats one of the last things I'd expect any of my grandparents to have. Though I would also be excited because I like videogames.
I would see if she has a room I could rent. I'm not really a gamer, but an old lady that is has to be fucking awesome in more ways than just gaming!
If my grandma was still alive and into that I’d find it cool and want to play with her sometime
Granny rockin’ it! She probably has a Triumph in the garage too.
That would be difficult for me since my grandparents and parents are all in heaven
I would think it's cool
Hell yeah! I would like it :)
cool but a little odd.
