Poll- do you still talk and see your siblings after they got married?

ever since my brother got married it feels like I lost my brother. His wife still sees all her sisters daily and whole family but is happy for my brother not be with his sister and parents. his sister in law is fake has treated me bad & then says bad things of me to my brothers head. me and my brother don’t text never , I haven’t seen him in 2 years. Now her sisters are his new sisters. We are like strangers. Also in past his wife has been jealous of me. I would sit next to my brother and she would be jealous stare at me from afar and fast sit next to him. Why she can still talk daily to her sisters after marriage but not my brother? Or is it normal when you marry or have kids family don’t matter any more just wife and kids and her family matter only? Is it normal for a brother he gone from sister after marriage?

Thankfully both my two older sisters and our respective families are extremely close, and are totally there for each other for whatever might arise.

Yea but do u have brothers? I’m not talking of sisters I don’t have ssiters that’s why I’m alone. Is it normal for brotehrs disapear wen he gets married and girls loose their brotehrs forever?

I even had block sister in law from my social media she would be mad I’m going out seeing mom or boyfriend and not weekly at her family parties 🙄I have a life too. There’s nothing wrong of seeing my mom either

The exact same thing happened to me with my brother. The first few years after he got married me and my mum tried to keep him around but it seemed he and his wife were just looking for a reason to argue and start a discussion with us so that they had an excuse to be offended and not have to come round eventually the final break happened and its been two years since I have seen him or spoken to him so I guess what I am trying to say is you're not alone.

It's just the way it goes. In that case it's what the woman wants. That said its not entirely the wife's fault. If a brother stops talking or having anything to do with family it's because he wants it this way.

I do but I have two brothers that are married and the one that most recently got married got married to a girl that doesn’t get on so well with my other sister in law so because of this he visits his brother less often.
