Do women think it's important to have a father figure?

When you were being raised do you feel that having a father in your life was important? Or do you think you turned out okay with out a father figure growing up? But I really wonder how do women say that their daughters don't need men in their lives to help raise them. I really think in a perfect world there needs to be two opposite sex's raising children but in a healthy family environment. I'm not talking about 2 dad's or two moms... Taking about women and man.

having bad parents or lacking one just sucks bc its like if life were a race then the peeps with good parents are farther ahead than you. you gotta put in extra work to catch up and get ahead

For sure, children with two good parents tend to turn out better that those raised be single parent or crappy parents
