Why do many guys have a bad opinion about girls lifting yet at the same time they don't like stuff like cellulite, saggy and shapeless butts/boobs? (Page 2)
To be honest, I feel like the internet with promoted extreme lifestyles is too blame really, we live in a world where it takes hard not too notice the "perfect body" so our expectations too what we are attracted to male/female is higher, even though appearance is only skin deep, also men are naturally & over time been moulded into being the more "physical dominant" sex.. not insulting anyone just saying what history & science as taught us, so by witnessing a female bench lift curl it comes across unattractive/unnatural/ too alpha Male for men, personally i have no issue however just believe thats how it is, however what people forget is we live in a world where men use make & sell cosmetics so i just believe this point has been over reacted for the sake of internet argument... finally, you can't expect the prime if you don't like how it got there
Women are beautiful no matter what. They are beautiful in their own way and that's what makes women great. Also, don't look for a women who is looking good, look for a woman is looking for a happy life. Those women, are the most beautiful. Not some fitness model or a fashion model.
It's hard to believe a girl is serious at the gym when so many go to the gym all dolled up and barely touch a machine or weight at the gym. I get annoyed when waiting for a machine when a 5ft girl holds a machine when not even trying to do a set.
I believe that health and exercise go hand in hand with a happy life. But like anything, taking things to extremes can be damaging. Provided you live long enough, one day you'll be old and the natural progression is for stuff to breakdown.
I know this may seem like lazy thinking, but given the choice, you're a whole lot better off to work on your mind than your body, but each to his/her own.
Honestly people have preferences. For example, I would never date a women who was fit, nevertheless more power to her! Additionally, certain things such as boobs/ass and penis size can't really be controlled unless you want to take a risk for a hefty price..
First of all, I have zero issues with cellulite or sagging as that is natural. Most women don't tend to work out, work out correctly, or do anything but Cardio.
Second, I don't know any guy who doesn't like a woman who is in shape. I'm sure some guys don't, you can't please everyone, but the ones who really don't like building muscle is women. That's their issue, not men's.

I literally don't know a single guy who has a bad opinion of girls who lift to stay fit and avoid or get rid of cellulite. None. Zero. It's just not a thing.
The only time guys are turned off is when a woman starts looking masculine. Guys like feminine girls, not masculine ones.
Yeah, she's a little too masculine for my tastes, too. Why does that bother you though? I mean it shouldn't be surprising that guys are not attracted to masculinity in a woman.
Did you read that in the second picture is still her? Of course her upper body looks like that. Anyone would look like that when flexing unless they are a couch potato. If she didn't work her upper body she wouldn't be proportionate. It is really stupid to say someone looks too muscular when theyvare literally flexing.
I have very skinny upper body and even when i wasn't liftin my muscles were visible when flexing. That is just dumb. Her upper body is really tiny actually, weight lifting didn't do much to her, it i just her lower body where she has bigfer gains.
I think that first girl is hot af, her arms definitely don't look like a guy's arms, they're just a little toned which looks good on her. The second girl is too much though in my opinion
Look, you asked for opinions and I gave you mine. If you're going to call it stupid then you can go fuck yourself. I gave you the real answer why some guys don't like some girls who lift. Do with it what you want, but you'll still need to lie within the real world.
No, i called stupid that you overlooked the fact she was flexing. Anyone would look like that flexing. If her unflexed look is too much for you that is different
You 'literally' don't know a single guy that has a problem with women losing fat, then a few replies later, admit that the woman who did just that is not your type. That makes you one of guys you say doesn't exist.
Girls can't look masculine without help as OP tried to show.
@ApacheRose Please show me where I said I have a problem with women losing fat. As I said, I like fit girls, not masculine ones.
Perhaps you might benefit from reading up a little on what cellulite is and what it means to be fit and not overweight, as opposed to building masculine a physique. Lots of info on Google bro, and its free. Go find it.
Where you said it? You said you don't know any man who doesn't like a fit woman then said the fit woman was too masculine, which means you don't like fit women. There is nothing to Google on my end. I like fit women and know they can't become masculine... something I wish other men would learn.
Lmao I shouldn't have commented on this, too many notifications. You guys are arguing something that's subjective, what one considers to be "too masculine" is just personal preference. The OP thinks toned arms are too masculine for him, and that's fine, it's his own taste, you can't argue against that.
@ApacheRose, there definitely is a point where a woman can become masculine, just as some men can be feminine. It's just not black and white like what you're trying to make it seem like.
@ApacheRose OK, so in your opinion there are no differences between the women in the top and bottom photos, and the one on the bottom is no more masculine than the one on the top. Do I have that right?
This is a fit woman who is feminine... Brains like your are free. Most things with no value are.
This woman is clearly masculine...
It's a matter of degrees, something that seems to be lost on you. There is no inconsistency in y statement that I like fit women but not masculine ones.
But again that brings me back to my point that this is all subjective. Maybe @ApacheRose is into girls of all shapes and sizes as long as they have a vagina, that's his opinion and his taste. You have your taste, I have my taste. It's not all gonna be the same.
I think we can all agree though, that there is nothing wrong with women lifting weights because it helps keep fat off and there are varying levels of fitness/muscularity that guys can be attracted to.
No I don't like anything with a vagina. OP was pointing out that some men even think the fit girl is masculine since she is fit. It is hypocrisy to say don't be fat then say 'your lack of fat makes you less soft and curvy so you are too dude like for me'.
Tastes are subjective. But saying the fit girl has arms like a dude because she is fit? That is messed up and you should be more mindful of your words and actions. Why? Because while you think you only upset OP, your comments affect all women who read this. Some will never step foot in a gym because they want to be accepted by men, not seen as masculine. They too believe the fucked stereotypes that say lifting will make you look like a guy when every woman I know who lifts (and I know many) look as feminine as could be. They have the best booties, thighs, and bonus, lifting means she is always up for good food.
I have seen many a woman lift and get smaller, stronger, and more beautiful but many will never try because of the views just like yours. That is what OP is getting at exactly. Don't say it is subjective so sorry about your luck ladies. Penis size is the same and you don't hear collectives of women writing off small penises the way men write off various stuff about women.
@ApacheRose I don't think you understood what I was saying and you also misunderstood what op of this answer was saying too. He wasn't saying that just because she's fit she's masculine. He was saying that the amount of muscle she has makes her too masculine for his taste, and again that's going to be different in the eyes of every guy.
Also the point about penises is completely irrelevant and has nothing to do with this because guys don't have any control over their penis size. Even then, I don't blame women for having preferences on size and shape on penises
My points were sound. Too masculine for his tastes aka man arms shows the hypocrisy and OP was right to speak up. My penis comment wasn't irrelevant. If women did as men do, men would whine like children but she asks a question and his reply was 'sorry but not sorry'. Lol. It seems the only misunderstanding isn't on my end but cool.
@ApacheRose No, your points were not sound. @aaa9501 nailed it. He was exactly right, in his opinions and his interpretation of mine. You were way off base. You're an idiot who was inexplicably butthurt by my comments and responded accordingly. Go sit in some cold water and it will ease your discomfort. I'm not wasting any more time on you.
@aaa9501 Thanks for your honesty and reason in an otherwise strangely and unnecessarily fucked up conversation.
The term "Strength training" has gotten a bad rap. Both men and women need to do some sort of weight resistive training/exercises, modified as they age, to minimize muscle loss as they age. You have a realistic grasp of the situation we all face.
That said, different people have certain body profiles- mesomorph, etc.- which set down a genetic guideline of what is acheiveable by any given individual.
I don't know what you mean. I wish more women would work out and keep fit. I don't mind girls that don't though. Do what makes you comfortable. I love seeing that type of girl, although they tend to look so good that most guys find them unapproachable
I have NEVER heard that " complaint " from any man , my own daughter aged 13 has recently started training with me @ a new UFC gym , which has the full gym set up as well as combat sport geared classes , areas and a lot of heavy bags , I encourage her to also do strength training , to achieve all round fitness.
Monitor her because 13 is young for a child to begin strength training. I'd keep it to a minimum until she is a little older. Think gymnasts. They do very rigorous physical training from an early age and it causes all kinds of problems as they hit puberty and beyond.
Uhh make sure you teach her about positive body image when I worked with teens and young adults that had body dysmorphia and eating disorders it stemmed from observing family and the gym, internalizing expectations, and eating habits at a young age. Not saying you’re doing anything wrong that’s your child. Just an fyi
By training 6 hours each day, this extremely beautiful, sexy, and highly desirable girl has well-developed muscles all over her body and is in outstanding physical condition.
It is stupid to claim that guys have a bad opinion of her.
As someone who is ageing, and fighting gravity, i am in a group of both who exercise, including lifting, to keep what we have looking reasoable or goid, however we are not trying to go extreme or recapture our gouth. Lifting to maintin or gain a bidy that you are happy with depends on the individual definition if that happiness. Each to thier own. Why shouldn't everyone be allowed to be how they want for them, not for others.
? Guys have a “bad” opinion about girls lifting? Can you give me a few examples?
i think once again you are confusing sexism from other women as sexism from guys (similar to the slut label... it’s more women insulting women than guys doing it)
personally I much rather date and hook up with a muscular girl vs a lazy fat one. Girls who lift weights look good 99% percent of the time. They even look better than girls who do cardio all the time.
Guys ike all different types of women. In the real world people have cellulite and stretch marks all that crap. We can work out and be healthy and still have it. Embrace it if a man doesn’t like it his loss. But if you’re dating a super fit toned guy I’d expect he’d want the same type of girl.
I dont think I am but I'm pretty fit so I've been told. I run circles around the guys at my work half my age. I've been in Construction most my life... I'm not necessarily attracted to or rather, find super fit girls attractive. Mostly what attracts my attention are nice , wholesome, sweet girls with a healthy personalities. That's getting harder to find these days by the way. I find that super fit girls most times are self absorbed , overly opinionated or just a bad attitude. Like I don't know as if they have some need to be validated. I feel that most super fit guys are very much the same. May its the over abundance of testosterone in them, both guys and girls. Sorry for rambling.
Agreed. I figured most guys can appreciate a girl who’s genuine and healthy in general. But working out doesn’t consume their time 24/7. I prefer weekly swimming, french boxing, and Zumba I don’t like going to the gym only I prefer fun workout activities instead. I’ve heard that super fit people can have a very self absorbent personality and have seen it I stay away from people like that. Are you even having fun? Working out should not be a chore you check off. That’s my opinion
I get you regarding including the exercise in an activity. Going exploring to new places, venturing off the beaten path to find an alternate experience or learn a new thing. Working both body and mind and having fun of course!. Im mostly attracted to a girl with a body that's normaly and healthy. A certain height , cup sizes, weight , things like these are of little importancy. I'd prefer someone that's exercising there mind and there figurative heart. But that's just me. Rambling, my bad.
emmily2396 you still have a lot of growing up to do. Men have all sorts of wants. Some men have accepted the fact that these things happen and it's only natural. Men who have this idea that everything must be perfect about their woman for 50 years are pretty blind. Age, Gravity, time. We are all slaves to it and in the end we have to accept those 3 things that change out bodies.
I dont have anything against fitness girls. In fact i want to date one. Fitness is much more attractive then being lazy. And also looks much better. But im against steroid look.
i like a girl who's in shape but not toned. i don't want to see a girl's muscles however small they are. muscles do not attract men. that woman in the first picture can never be as attractive as a slim woman who looks natural. and congratulations on your bum
Im not a fitness freak so why would I think I'd have anything in common with such a girl. Plus i would assume she'd rather be with someone who was at the same fitness level as her.
Plus the last picture is what people associate with lifting so there's that.

My ex broke up with me over my size because she wanted 6 inches, I WOULD NEVER TELL HER SHE WAS FLAT!
Wow, your ex is a hoe. Sorry about that man!
yeah well..
I loved her she was everything to me for 2 years
she wouldn't even let me lose my virginity to her
She wasn't worth it man. Let her go into oblivion and meet the good hearted women.
yeah but you dont understand man Im a shy guy like im terrible at talking to women
it legitamately frightens me
Wait.. you will never date a girl is fit? What?
A girl who is fit*
nope id just avoid her
You’d avoid her because she has a good body from working out?
We’re not taking crazy steroid huge muscle girls were talking the normal good looking girl who works out here and there..
If she looks like the girl in the pic above then yes
My pref is average/chubby
but id never break up with a girl over her weight, thin or fat
@justawhiteman ohh yeah fair enough, the girl in the pic above is a bit over the top 👍
@aangelena any reason why your talking to me?
First of all, I have zero issues with cellulite or sagging as that is natural. Most women don't tend to work out, work out correctly, or do anything but Cardio.
Second, I don't know any guy who doesn't like a woman who is in shape. I'm sure some guys don't, you can't please everyone, but the ones who really don't like building muscle is women. That's their issue, not men's.

Her arms and shoulders look like a guy's.

Anyway, to avoid confusion. Thid is the girl in the first 2 pics

It's usually about girls who look like the last two pictures you posted. Otherwise, everyman appreciates a fit woman.
