It basically means a blue-eyed person are considered more attractive than another similar-looking person with brown eyes. Personally, I believe it is true I have seen so many guys and girls who have nothing special about them except their blue eyes getting tons of compliments on reddit, instagram etc.
It CAN be a halo, like blonde hair on girls or dark hair/height on guys. I'll explain below.
Anything that is considered "the beauty standard" or an evolutionary sign of health can make an otherwise average or normal-looking person look more attractive. So that's why you see pretty blue or green-eyed people who, if they had brown eyes, their features wouldn't be strong enough to stand on their own.
It's the same way with other "attractive" features such as the ones mentioned above (blonde hair on women, dark hair on men, a tan, tall men, etc.) So in that sense, it could be considered a privilege. If you want to become more attractive, you could put light-coloured contacts in and it would make you stand out more.
But in other cases, it really depends on the person's colouring and individual features that determines their attractiveness. It can even have the opposite effect. Someone photoshopped Monica bellucci with blue eyes once, and she somehow didn't look as good as with brown eyes. Some beautiful people suit dark eyes and their features are enough on their own.

It seems to me that everyone is privileged in one way or another. All you have to have is a certain feature, such as beauty, intelligence, money, etc. And you have somewhat of an advantage over others.
For example, my dad is a salesman and he has the gift to talk to people and figure out what they want. I guess he has privilege, over other people in that respect.
Hmm, maybe. My eyes are blue, and I get compliments on them all the time, but I don't know if I'm attractive. My eyes change different shades of blue, depending on my mood and mt atmosphere, and people have told me they thought they were pretty, or they looked beautiful in certain lighting, but some may have just been being nice, and the others, maybe they were flirting, but I'm not sure.
I feel cursed with my eyes. I thought maybe girls would find brown eyes more attractive really, because they look more masculine.
it's basically pretty privilege and what is rare is usually considered attractive
blue eyes are seen as more attractive than brown eyes because they are more rare
tall height is seen as more attractive than short height for the same reason
that being said, not all blue eyes fit on perfectly on all people who have brown eyes

Blue eyes is only noticeable and unique if you’re around a bunch of people who don’t have blue eyes. Same with blonde hair. Nobody really cares within a (predominantly) white community if you have blonde hair, but if you went to Asia or something, it’s unique.
I’m taller than most women and that’s seen as the equivalent that it’s more attractive, but in reality I’ll get the “wow you’re so tall” and that’s about it.
Only eye colors with unique characteristics are noticeable. Like people with hazel eyes get more compliments than people with blue eyes, same with people with green eyes and I feel like it’s a lot less common. The only blue eyes I ever notice are the ones who are soul piercingly blue.
I was just recently thinking about it and yeah I'd say there is some truth to it. I do prefer lighter colors myself, I can handle light brown eyes or hazel ones but very dark ones just don't do it for me.
I do have friends and know people who prefer dark brown over blue/grey much more. Some even hate light colored eyes.
Sure. There’s red haired privilege, size 9 shoe privilege, high metabolism privilege, very white teeth privilege, long nails privilege, and double jointed privilege.
You know what? Let’s kill all the blue eyed people for the sake of equality. We're on the same page regarding this. I have never been exclusively attracted to any eye colour. I care more about the shape and size. I don't understand why they're preferred to other eye colours. Perhaps because they look brighter? It still isn't my cup of tea to compliment anyone just because of this one characteristic. I wouldn't do it if I didn't like the rest of the face.
Not really. I have blue eyes, but no one ever notices them, and they're pretty dull. Sometimes you see someone with really electric and vibrant blue eyes that really stand out, and then they're a little more attractive than the average color, yes, but you could say the same about any shade.
Blue eyes are relatively rare as compared to brown or dark brown eyes, so it gets more attention. I do find lighter eyes more fascinating, because they tend to “stand out” but it does not mean that I wouldn’t date someone who has brown eyes. That would be terrible because I have brown eyes myself.
I’m not sure why some people got pressed over a silly question.. lolI get comments wrt my blue eyes from girls and some have implied they wanted to be with me because of that. The non blue eyed pic looks more hazel and that is in the blue/green/hazel matrix.
Interestingly blue/green/hazel eyes have won in the UK as they are in the majority. Everybody wanted to have sex with them I guess.

Yes, there is. Blue eyes are like any other eye color but people seem to believe they're "superior". I don't understand that. 🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️
Probably but for me its about green/hazel/light brown eyes. I get so weak 🤣
You know what? Too much variance and disparity in Privilege between the poor and rich and the pretty and ugly.
so, to make the have nots feel better, let’s burn everything and everyone down in nuclear fire. 😒
First I reject the word "privilege" in this context. Privilege implies an unearned advantage. Taste and unearned advantage are entirely different topics.
Rarity is often associated with desirability. Since roughly three quarters of the people in the world have brown eyes, it isn't surprising that people find eye color other than brown interesting and potentially attractive.
Yes for some guys. For me though, I am far more attracted to brunettes and red heads, so green eyes are what her that privilege in my case
Blue eyes evolved in humans as a way for men to ensure paternity: a child with blue-eyed parents will always have blue eyes, so blue-eyed men will find blue-eyed women more attractive because he will know right away if the kids are his.
No, if a person is ugly pair off blue eyes won't save them and brown eyes won't make pretty person less pretty. Personally I'm into brown eyes...
As someone with blue eyes, I have never heard of any such thing.
You can't even see someone's eye color until you get up close with them. I don't really see how there is any such thing.
Yes, blue eyes are considered more attractive than green eyes which in turn are considered more attractive than brown eyes.
Privilege is a made term by the powers that be yo divide us. So we dont what they are doing and we don't rise up against them
Keep them poor keep them stupid push race color sex and creed so they fight with each other instead of against usIs this why I see so many black people with blue contacts that makes them look creepy?
My father had turquoise eyes. So his eyes were a mix of green and blue. He was very handsome in his youth.
