Girls, What do one word responses mean?

Ik it usually means she not interested, but her responses are kinda different in my opinion. I went on a camping trip, saw a girl that was my cousins friend, got her sc, been talking to her for past few days. I haven't really said much tho. I sent a text yesterday to make her laugh, she thought it was funny. I send another text today just joking abiut how high my friend is and she thought it was funny too. And agreed with whatever i said idr, but its just weird that even tho her responses aren't dry, they are either one worded or kinda short, but i get this vibe likes she wants me to say more? Its sorta like how she is irl tho. She started acting kinda cold, so i just stopped the attention, and randomly during lunch she casually calls my name and waves... then as we leave she hugs me! But she was the only girl to do that. She kinda switches from hot to cold, what does all that mean? Should i say more? Less? I've always initiated our convos so far

tbh she seems kinda dry to me but if you’re into that, whatever floats ur boat

the fact that she got all touchy after you didn’t talk to her for a couple of days makes it seem like she just wants you for the attention that you give her

Just text more. Ask questions rather than making statements only. That way you get to know her and it forces her to say more
