How can a girl ask out a guy?

So I could use some ideas. I have been taking public transporatation to work and keep seeing this guy. I think he is cute. I have kept seeing him since the end of last year but didn't have chance to make a move. Now I see him more often. The thing is he is always reading. He is like a book nerd which I find adorable. But I swear he never looks up from his book. Its like he is never aware of his surroundings. This makes things hard. I also dont know but I feel like he might be a shy guy?

I was thinking about sitting near and asking him "hey what book is that? I want to read something good. I also work at a bookstore" which is true.

This is like the first time I would try this on a guy. I feel like if I dont say anything he will never know. Also if he saids no it will be awkward. Now I know why guys usually look for signs from a girl such as eye contact to make a move. But in this case if the girl was always reading what would you do?

You've just gotta go for it. Though if he does reading, you may need to think about cutting out the "like" in this sentence "This is like the first time I would try this on a guy." lol.

I never make a move since I am introverted but if a girl was reading a book that looked interesting I would actually just ask what is that book. I do know myself though if I was reading a book but saw a girl I found cute I would start using my book more of excuse to not look at them but look when they ain't.

If he describes the book you, then you have your opening. If he say's something like, "It's nothing you'd be interested in," move on.
