I don't know that that's necessarily true. I think there are for sure people (quieter shyer people) who might tend to not receive as many compliments... simply because people don't feel as comfortable telling the shy, obviously nervous girl in the corner that you think she's got a pretty smile. They may all be thinking she's got a great smile... without anyone ever actually saying that to her.
I also think it depends on someone's general situation. Like if you're a guy who generally only hangs out with guys. And don't end up just naturally shooting-the-shit with girls as a matter of course... well who in the hell is supposed to compliment that guy? His buddies? Random women at the mall? There are some situations that are just more conducive to hearing compliments about your appearance than other situations.
I think this is something you don't want to try and make an ironclad "rule" about. I don't think it's quite that straightforward.
No.
If you're attractive, eventually you're gonna hear it from someone, but attractive people don't get compliments all the time.
In fact, a lot of people prefer to make them feel worse about themselves, so they can feel better
I never care. I always hung out with very good looking girls and guys always talk to them while we hung out…did that make me feel bad…no.. I have such high self worth that I am better than outer appearance. 😛

No, not at all. I don't really care about receiving compliments. I know I am good looking and attractive.
I'm currently dealing with that very thing. I've also been rated very low by others and rejected so often over the years that it rings true enough to me.
Yeah probably.
