Man.. my dating life sucks, why? :(

I don't know... I don't go after many guys after the constant rejection. There are some cute guys I see at the gym.. but now I don't even bother going up to them.. I've experienced so many rejections it just sucks to keep trying...

I would love a cute guy to just come waltzing up to me... ahh don't know I fell for this guy like 3 years ago... sometimes I sit here wishing I had him.. I just wish there was ONE guy that I liked who was interested in me

I feel hopeless and crap... SIGH any advice? encouragement?

I think it because we grew up watching disney movies. Sorry, sweetie but never in my life have a guy came and sweep up my feet. So, first I would work on doing more interesting things in your life and hope you meet guys that are into the things you are into. Such as rock climbing, tennis, golf, etc. Try to do the things that have more guy to girl ratio. Yoga vs Flag football.

Seconds, you could try online dating. What I learned is online dating is usually guy looking for sex. What you want to do is filter it. Say you see a guy looking to make friend or activity partner, I would then ask that guy to exercise with me. Most guys are up for exercising or anything that make them feel good. Then now, you have quality time with them. One on one where they are honest and tell you about themselves without the on the date pressure.

Third, if none of this work, ask a friend to hook you up. A friend of a friend reference is the best.

I wouldn't give up easily. Usually, don't be the one asking out a guy. That just set you up for rejection (already has a girlfriend, think you are easy, etc). If a guy really like you, he will make the catch (most guy really like competition and like to earn your attention). I know a guy that I rejected but took more than 2 days to explain why I should give him a chance. You have to worth other people time. I am not sure of the girl he dated before but I am sure he never meet anyone who determined, positive, understanding, driven, and culturally. All came from my day as a tom boy.

I really think you should also work on your conversation and listening skills to prepare you. I am not sure but guys like that I can talk about political, news, business, and have interesting perspective. Don't give up hope. Willing to work on it will be better than wasting time at home. Who knows, 5 years later and you might still be sitting at home. The different between hopeless and hope is effort. Good luck!

The only thing I can say is keep your head up, and keep trying. Try to take the focus off guys and put it onto yourself. Find something you like to do, and start doing it.

Take time to work on your health, work on your mind and your spirit. By doing this, you make yourself an all around better person.

I'm in your shoes as well. I'm struggling to find decent guys worth talking to. I'm never approached and I am straight up too terrified to talk to any guys.

I'm a friendly person though, and should a guy be brave enough to come talk to me, I will smile and converse with him. That's not a problem for me, it's the going up to a guy and actually initiating which terrifies me.

I think my problem is that I generally just assume the guy is not interested, or he is taken. I always seem to get the taken guys :S The single guys are just not around much. Maybe I need to change up my environment?

Anyway, I wish you luck! I've started taking classes, the least I can do is work on my fitness, and hopefully more guys will approach.

Just try to look upbeat and happy. I notice a lot of guys will look at me, and I smile a lot so maybe that might help?

I feel the same way. Maybe you just need to take the pressure off and find something else that brings you happiness for now. If you keep trying so hard, you will start looking desperate, which would stink even on Angelina.

I hear ya. I liked this girl bout 2 years ago...and I tell you I was like maybe a week or two late asking her out. Some guy at her work asked her out..I thought she was perfect. Ever since I've dealt with cheaters, and everyone I've asked out is dating someone.

But, I keep my eyes open. Plan on asking out this Latina girl at one point saw her at the gym lol. If that doesn't work out then..."I'm on to the next one" Jay-z

It looks like you need to be more socially active.

If you want a guy will come waltzing at you literally, join a dancing class.

If you want a guy to be serenading as he closes the distance between the two of you, then join a singing class.

There are a lot of chances you can get in the dating world as long as you put yourself out there a lot.

This happens to everyone in the world. We all get plenty of rejection. That's dating for you. It's not like guys have nothing better to do than reject you. You just have to keep on trying.
