If you went to a restaurant that disappointed you multiple times, why would you keep going back?

I’ve had guests say things along the lines of “oh every time I come here, my food comes out bad” and then they’re overly picky about every detail and give a million instructions on how they want their food.

Like I don’t understand, you clearly don’t like the way we make the food so why do you still come here? 😭

if I went to a restaurant several times and was disappointed every time, then that’s clearly a sign that I just simply don’t like the restaurant lol.
I’m not gonna go back and give a list of instructions on how to make the food to my exact liking.. I’m just gonna take my ass to another restaurant 😵‍💫

(Also can someone tell me of this is true: I heard that customizing your food and asking for special requests is mostly an American thing. In other countries, you get the food the way it comes and that’s it 😭)

The waitress, the location. If I personally knew the owner. If they offered very special backroom services.

Plausible but sometimes it will be couples who BOTH have issues with the food all the time lol
Like there’s two ladies who come in all the time and they are always complaining and sending food back. They even complained about their water lol.

Yeah that’s probably why. I’m pretty sure there was a time my manager had to comp some meal that they had.
And after all the running around the restaurant they make you do, they tip like shit lmao. They’re nice though! They’re never rude about it. Just super needy
